Arcade Fire

Featured Replies

I didn't get round to listen to the older tracks but I listened to The Suburbs again yesterday.

"City with no children" is standing out now, I love the track.

Well, I never said I don't like it, just that I don't agree with reviews like "best indie album of the decade" etc...

I'm just in posting-mood and wanted to say that my tiny unimportant self is liking the record more now. :escaping3:

Yeah, I followed a path similar to yours. I am a big fan of VLV and MX (the "midplay" era, ahah) and when I discovered that Coldplay mentioned several times AF as an influence during that period, I st

I'm finding myself after a lot of listens, loving "Suburban War" the most off the new album. The track is uniquely Arcade Fire, the lyrics are deep, disturbing and emotive, and the second half tempo-change sweeps into an epic climax. It really is my favourite, and one I would love to see live.

WHY DID THEY HAVE TO PLAY THE MTS CENTRE, THE PLACE WITH LIKE THE MOST EXPENSIVE CONCERT TICKETS. </3

I DON'T REALLY KNOW ANYONE AROUND HERE WHO LISTENS TO THEM THOUGH

What?

I stopped being alphemeritous. </3

How long after a concert is announced or whatever do radio stations start having contests to give away tickets?

I'm gonna have to start entering every contest on the internet and the radio and everything trying to get tickets for this, wish me luck 'cause I'll need it. :blank:

I remember when I called in to win Coldplay tickets and I knew the answer and a million people got it wrong but I didn't know you were supposed to hang up and keep calling.

I bet it will be amazing to see them play Rebellion (Lies) if I see them live, that's been one of my favourite songs for about 5 years. :wacky:

Finally, some California shows announced :)

I read the article on Arcade Fire in that Vanity Fair magazine. :awesome: It was short, though.

I really really like this new album. I've got it on vinyl as well as on cd, and also got a promo vinyl single with it! :)

I listen to it all the time, can't listen to any other music at the moment :P
