I don't like the look of it at all. Now-a-days, that Compact Disc logo gives me bad vibes. Seller is 100 %, but I also don't buy a Canadian seller with a just released UK promo. Hmmm...

I just came here to ask if anyone knows if the limited edition thingie will have 2 version: one by Capitol and one by Parlophone, or just 1 version worldwide?

 

I would presume (and hope!) only one release by Parlophone as it's only available through Coldplay.com and it says you'll get the digital version October 24th. It isn't released until October 25th in the US. I wouldn't think they would make two different pressings just for each record company...

i don't think these will go THAT high, they seem fairly steady.

 

I think people panicked after the Christmas Lights promo thingie. The first ones went fairly cheap but then it seemed almost impossible to get one for under 150€.

 

ETIAW was a good promo release. 2 promo's and everybody could get their hand on either one of those for a faire price and I think Paradise will be just the same and it seems that a lot of people are thinking that now.

I'm still in the dark concerning the catalogue numbers, anybody got an idea ?

i only have a hard copy of VLV.

I've heard there was a Mexican ETIAW CD release as well but I didn't think it was any different than the regular one. But now there's a copy on ebya which shows the backside of the cardsleeve and is it just me or are there really minor differences:

The first one is the mexican one, the second one is the regular UK one.

 

There seem to be no differences at first sight, but look carefully at the position of the catalogue number (CDR6843). On the first one (mexican one) it appears to the irght of the barcode but not completely next to it, part of the catalogue number is still above the barcode.

 

On the UK one; the catalogue number clearly appears more to the right of the barcode right? or is it just me?

So my question is: are they really 2 versions? Because I don't see any mention of EMI Mexico on the assumed Mexican one.

I can see the mexican one is missing "printed in the EU" in the last sentence, just before the catalogue number..that's the only difference I can clearly see

Looks like Paradise releases will be identical to ETIAW releases: there is a US promo in regular CD case as well !
