aww, we share the same first related Coldplay memory ! :nice:

long story ? Do tell ! im kinda curious !

its not so much long as it is very stupid. i missed our first year anniversary to travel away to newcastle to see a gig, (and the person i went with was another girl my girlfriend didnt trust). anyway, i ended up staying there for a couple of days and somehow came to the conclusion i should end my relationship. i think it had something to do with listening to Trouble live and realising i really was.

Well, the closest thing I can think of is that I have spent rather too much money to get my tickets for december, I have had too many expenses lately and the money I used would have helped me no end. But at the end of the day, I will see coldplay for the first time, and I am sure the memories of those 2 nights will far out live the 3 tyres I have just spent a fortune on, on a car I have only bought 6 weeks ago, because the person who had it before me was naughty and driving on illegal tyres!!!!!

I signed up for the Brixton competion and was prepared to buy plane tickets and all, then I heard about a competion on a local radio station for the same concert over the weekend. I tried calling every time they played a song and finally decided I needed to get up really early on sunday morning to have the best chance. so I got out of bed at 6.30 to listen... and won...!

5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.)

The Isle of Wight festival was the craziest thing really. On the day they were playing, me, Steph and Nettie woke up at 7.30am (with hardly any sleep ), started queuing at the entrance gates to the fields leading to the stage. We waited there for 3 and a half hours and it was very hot. Then we had to run across four huge fields to get to the stage when it opened at 11am. When I got to the stage I was so tired! and another entrance for non-campers had been closer and they had got there first, not fair. Still I got my barrier spot. We had food supplies.... endured crappy morning bands... Lou Reed, etc. Jenny (Fudge) joined us. My other friend saved my spot so I could go to the loo once or twice. So yeah. We waited approximately 13 hours to see Coldplay from the front!! a bit mad really. :uhoh: It was the most beautiful evening though, with a sunset.

I also dashed into London in the hope of meeting Chris outside Radio1 one evening in 2007, and waited in a pub nearby listening to the show with Steph on the radio on her phone...until he came out. and we met him :nice:

Well, I´ve already told this, but here we go again: Last year I bought a ticket to see them in first row. I went to the hotel hoping to get a chance to talk them, but of course, it was impossible... But a few days before the show I won a meet & greet and met them minutes before the concert. I got the chance to talk to all of them. But with Guy I had a really nice conversation, and I told him how important they´re for me, because they helped me going trough very though times. He was so so sweet, saying how nice it was for him to hear those things. And at the concert he gave me the disposable camera!!!

Oh!! I paid $400 (pesos, but it´s the same...) for the ticket and went to buy it at 4.30 am...
