2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where?

YES! THANK VISHNU, GOD, AND ALLAH!

AT Mansfield, MA / Manchester, NH / and soon to be Boston, MA

3.a Favorite Coldplay album?

Ooooh, yeeesh this is tough....:\

AROBTTH or VLV

b. Favorite Coldplay song?

From AROBTTH: A Rush of Blood To The Head! so raw and emotional, gives me chills, especially Jonny's guitar riffs in the outro.

From VLV: 42!

Different one everyday though.

Toss-up: The Scientist or GPASUYF

4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection?

*GASP* The 3-D glasses I brought to the Manchester, NH show

5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.)

Calling 42 bloody times over the weekend trying to win FRONT ROW tickets from a radio station... and not winning

(and still trying since the contest continues this week)

And taking crap for being a fan...

as well as trying to persuade a bouncer to let me back stage. :wink3:

1. First related Coldplay memory?

Watching Chris Martin laying on a bed in the middle of a street...aka The Scientist video.

2. Have you ever seen the band live in concert, if so where?

No...unfortunately

3.a Favorite Coldplay album?

b. Favorite Coldplay song?

There's a nostalgic value to The Scientist that no other Coldplay song has for me. It's what made me love the band. Therefore it's probably my favorite.

c. Favorite Coldplay video?

It's funny because it seems like this is becoming a theme for me, but I don't think any thing beats The Scientist. It was Coldplay when they didn't think being serious meant they were twats (guys being serious does not mean your twats, please make Viva la Vida a good vid)

4. Most treasured Coldplay item in your collection?

I'm not really sure, I think its my cracked AROBTTH CD. It cracked before I knew what Coldplay meant to me, and I regret it. But that was my introduction to the band.

Well a lot of people have mad fun of Coldplay around me, but one time I was in the car with my 4 cousins, my Mom, and my baby brother, and I was listening to Speed Of Sound, and 3 of my cousins were telling me to change the song because it was gay, and i FLIPPED OUT and said "THIS IS MY CAR AND AI WILL PUT ON WHAT EVER I WANT, IF YOU DON'T LIKE COLDPLAY, THEN THAT SUCKS BECAUSE WHENEVER YOU GET INTO THIS CAR, ALL YOU ARE GOING TO LISTEN IS COLDPLAY". So that was a pretty big moment. Also I my Dad spent A LOT of money just for me to go see Coldplay and i appreciate that!!

5. What was your craziest fanatic moment regarding Coldplay (ie. did you have to go at great lengths to see them live? did you do something really dramatic to defend Coldplay? etc etc.)

I had moved to Virginia from California for a guy I was in love with. And I used to go to a *ton* of concerts (which is an understatement). My boyfriend really disliked doing public things and the only show he had to see was The Stereophonics. I was cool with that - I love them. But when i found out Coldplay was coming around I begged him to see a few shows nearby with me.

We agreed on one show and I bought the tickets months ahead of time.... we broke up and I had no clue how to get to Baltimore and wasnt very comfortable with the whole new area. I begged him to go with me and surprisingly we had a great time. I mean it was torture seeing Coldplay with an ex and seeing them at the Pier was more than one should put up with. Couples making out everywhere, holding hands. Oh it broke my heart. I realized after I gave up so much of myself for him and said never again. 2 shows in one year makes me laugh. But to this day him and I are still great friends. It helps that he lives in VA and im in NYC - so we only see each other a few times a year and thats great - and no - id never bring him to a coldplay concert again.

I now see most CP shows with my best friend in VA. Fuck boyfriends - they come and go - friendships are forever.
