Tonight I danced with death and came out on top with a milkshake

Featured Replies

That's right, I was in a car crash.

My friends car is a total write off! going to the scrap.

the car tha hit us was indeed a woman driver :P

but the point is, she tried driving up a one way road and as we came out of the junction she just ploughed right into us. my side of the car got hit so in theory I should have been injured, dead or whatnot.

I was weird though, I wasn't shaking, or upset or hurt, I was too busy making sure my milkshake was okay, then I realised, "woah hold on! we've crashed 3 seconds away from a 24hr mcdonalds! SCORE1" - so.... long story short, I went and bought another milkshake to make me feel better while the insurance details were swapped and we waited for a lift home.

but alas, Sir J of D lives on.

Wow!!! Well good thing you are ok!!!!!

Thanks guys, and yeah, if my friend was driving a second faster Then they would have went right into the side of the us flipping my mates car over.

I'm grateful god placed a mcdonalds there to comfrot me. :P

Craaaap! So glad you're alright. Is that woman gonna get done for it?!? Your poor friend's car :\

I had a kinda experience a little bit like it last week. I was on holiday in Germany, and I was taking a few photos of this rural countryside train track, stupidly forgetting that trains still used it. Even more stupidly, I had my ipod on. I heard a train horn from a short distance behind me, and scared myself silly thinking what could have happened if I hadn't heard it and got out of it's way :disappointed:

That's what you get for wondering why the girls weren't in the kitchen :P

Oh my God!

That poor milkshake, I hope it didn't get spilled at all!:stunned:

Oh, and good thing you didn't get hurt either JD, blah blah:dozey:

That poor milkshake!:\

should've gotten some fries with your shake;)

You didn't think to put the shake in the cupholder when you saw the car coming!?!

Don't you realize that statistics indicate a milkshake, even a full one, is 50% less likely to spill when it is probably secured in a standard automobile cup holder! What a shameful waste, you should be more considerate next time a car comes hurtling in your directions, especially one driven by a woman! :P

:laugh3:

Hahaha, sorry, I had to laugh... I know it's mean, but I just had to. :P

But I'm glad you weren't hurt!

 that was close ! at least you made it back to heaven :flutterby: Coldplay heaven :flutterby:

WOAH, crazy stuff. I hope your are alright. I remember a accident(I wouldnt even call it that) I had. But I was on a bus and there was a car. I looked through the back window because I was sitting at the end and saw a old Mercedes behind and I was like thats a bit close, back off LADY (Yes it was a Woman) and it was a tiny bend and at the back off the bus she overtook a tiny bit of the bus and was on the right. I dont know why and then she turned left and tapped the bus. People on the bus didnt feel anything really but she was such a dumb driver!!

next time, make sure your milkshake wears its seatbelt. really, are you that irresponsible?

:P

glad you're ok, JD :D.

i had a bit of an accident last year at christmas when i had stopped in traffic on the highway and the guy behind me didn't realize that traffic had stopped and plowed into the back of my car. it was rather weird because it took me a minute to realized i'd been hit, and two days or so to realize i hit my head :laugh4:.

i also got shot at in a bus once at night in harlem, but after some quick investigation, we figured out they were just paintballs :dozey:.

Are you saying that all woman drivers are crap?:o

I'm actually quite aware and good at driving apart from my tendancy to drive much too fast.

LMFAO. JD you're such a moron. :laugh3: :uneasy: but i'm happy you're ok.

Oh no! :o

she went the wrong way up the one way street?

glad to hear you and your milkshake came out alive! :stunned:

... and i noticed ur now using the title i named you with "sir j of d" :D

Glad you are ok JD!!!

But when is the funeral for the milkshake...

Glad you're ok JD! Glad you got another milkshake as well!

Btw,what kind of milkshake did you but, Vanilla or Chocolate :D?

To all of those people tutting "women drivers", I'd like to even up the score. I've been in three car accidents and each of them was caused by a man!

The first one was an old guy who drove in to the back of me and actually said "I got confused between the brake and the accelerator"

The second was a guy coming out of a petrol station not looking where he was going.

The third caused a four car pile up and gave us all fake details.

It's not always women drivers... why do you think our insurance costs less???
