Hmmm, I am thinking of getting a Coldplay tattoo.

I have a couple of ideas;

1) 'Every Siren is A Symphony' because music means everything to me.

2) 'I'd rather be a comma than a full stop' because it's simply a great message which I live by.

3) 'You don't know how lovely you are' because The Scientist is my favourite song and I know it's sad and a bit of a long shot but if someone was down and happened to see my tattoo as I walked passed them, then it may lift them a little bit.

What do you guys think? :)

But you should go for what you like. Because its on your body for the rest of your life. No one elses.

It's the equal sign as seen on Chris Martin's hand.

 

It's the butterfly from the Viva La Vida tour (and MX).

 

It's the MX sign, as in Mylo Xyloto.

So over spring break next year, I know I want to get 'alis grave nil' on my left wrist, but I kinda want a Coldplay tattoo still...

There are some beautiful tattoos on this thread... I've been thinking of getting one, but I doubt it'll happen because I'm petrified of having tattoo regret, and my boyfriend of 3 years hates tattoos.

I'm going to get the Viva La Vida album logo and a Fix You tattoo design I came up with next Monday before the concert in Auburn Hills, I'm so very excited :D

Although it huuuurts I really love tattoos! Here's the second Coldplay related one that I got yesterday :heart:

 

 

I agree, I love the way their (early) "logo" was COLDPLAY in the Alberta font, but I'm not really a fan of having just plain old band-names be a tattoo. As lovely as some of the butterfly tattoos I've seen are, I just feel like everyone does that, and so many people have butterflies anyway that it just seems like a kind of generic thing to get, at least from the point of view of other people. Right now I like the ideas of the MX symbols the best.

 

This is such a cool idea! This is the kind of thing I'd like to go for: a symbol that's Coldplay-related, but not immediately obvious as Coldplay-related to the rest of the world. It's also really pretty :wacky:

I've got "life is for living" tattoed in a hidden place, cause i'm only 17 and my mom wouldn't let me get one hahahaha. but I really wanted to get this tattoo and i'm really happy with it!

 

 

BTW i'm looking forward to getting another one, in a visible place this time, maybe the cover of the X&Y.
