I woke up right before 10 hoping to score tickets, but no luck. I prefer Raleigh, but I will easily take Charlotte if better tickets come up there. Basically, I am hoping for three tickets in one of the closest three sections (at either Raleigh or Charlotte). We wanted front row, but I'm thinking that it's impossible for the general public to get those. So we'd love to get as close as possible, obviously. Hopefully you or anyone else on this site will be able to help in the coming days, because I've waited for them to come here for a long time.

Well crap, I got 2 tix but they aren't very good. I was ready at exactly 10:00 on 3 different windows. At first I couldn't even select tickets because of the high volume of users. it took me several tries to even be able to select!!

 

Every single window took me to the exactly the same section and row!! One window would only let me buy 1 ticket!

 

I am in the Upper Center Section, row JJ, which is about midway seats 131 and 132 which are almost on the aisle. Maybe they'll run up that aisle during the show!

 

 

I was so hoping to get in the lower section, BUT I am extremely grateful to have gotten tickets at all.

 

Now to tell my husband what I've done!

Same here Emmbeedee, I had a similar experience. Ended up settling for seats in Dallas, section DDD. It's way up top, only about 4 rows from the lawn, but the seats are reserved and the view should be decent. Plus, these amphitheaters hold far less people than the arenas do, so even if you're up top, you're probably closer than similar seats in a jam-packed arena.

Go back to Livenation later in the day or tomorrow. Livenation has this cool thing that lets you see what seats are available at that moment. It gives you a virtual map and tells you what seats are left and where. Sadly it is not usually available until the rush dies down.

i was on at 10 on presale and at 10 today, refreshing every 3 seconds. the best i got was 1 hour into presale at charlotte, section 8, row l. i have 4 sets though, will look at all of them when they come and sell the other 3. maybe i'll sell all 4 and end up with front row :)

i think there's very little chance anything in the first 3 sections pops up, if you look at presales from yesterday to general sales of today. just letting you know, i got my best seats yesterday on presale, no chance on first 3 sections unless you go single. ticket brokers have 7 in a row front and center though ($720 each min.). it's garbage.

So even presale wasn't totally awesome? I am wondering because I didn't do it, and I'm hoping I don't have to regret it.

no presale sucked. but it was better seats than today. i just kept buying hoping i could get closer. no luck.
