To: Coldplay Rules the World...

I prebought tckts today for San Diego, I thought I clicked on 2 Best Available seats & ended up with 1 great seat, had to let it go because I needed 2.

By the time I got back around I only got Lawn Seats. Thankfully, my friend wans on her computer at the same time and got 2 great seats so the single seat would've been better IF I were going solo.

There's your silver lining!!! Besides, no one will notice you are there alone....enjoy!

Yeah, and none of my friends love Coldplay half as much as I do. I may just get one ticket and meet up with some Coldplayers.

^yeah, do that! I don't know how I'll convince my sister that buying separately is the best way.

what section are these great seats in?

I will see what I get through pre-sale tomorrow and if I'm not happy I will just buy tickets of ebay. I'm hoping I get great seats though!!!

haha i hated the anticipation for this day haha but now i have a week to go before i die again..haha

Pre-sales go on sale for me tomorrow. I really hope I get good tickets. I know buying one ticket would get me a good seat, but I feel weird going by myself.

I have been to concerts with people, groups of people, and solo. They are all great experiences as I'm there with the mindset to enjoy the music and have a good time regardless. Usually I go solo to concerts since not all my friends and family members have the same interests or $$$ to do so. Although it doesn't seem I'm by myself with other fans around me. I find I can focus more on my bad singing when I go solo or go with someone who equally enjoys a band as much as I do. There's nothing worse than having someone talk your ear off when you're trying to listen to the music.

I plan to go solo once again as I did the last concert...cause everyone in my circle thinks once you've seen them once, you've seem them all, :surprised: but really they're just strapped for cash so I don't blame them. I do see a difference between single tickets and more than one, so maybe that's my real motive ;)

^^^Awww, thanks! I'm going to try for a single ticket and that way I can go hours early and try and meet them when they do sound check. I asked my friend to go with me, because she went with me to see them last July and she was like "But they need new songs before I go see them again." I have also decided I'm sure there are others on here going to the same concert and we could meet up.

I'm going with my friend and her friends, but we're sitting separately ;) Maybe I'll be able to convince them to go really early so we can try to stalk meet the boys? It must be easier to catch the soundcheck at an outdoor gig

It's interesting because I've wondered the exact same thing; what would it be like going to concert alone, and I mean I've never had the exact explaination from someone such as yourself who has went solo to a concert. I am really thinking of trying to catch a Coldplay concert, but I am definately scared stiff, because I know that I would have to go by myself( since absolutely no one in my family has much of a taste in them and I don't have alot of friends outside my family, ones that like Coldplay anyway).

So it's a little nerve racking for me because I am like should I go? Or will I just feel completely strange being completely alone and like everyone glancing at the "lonely little Coldplay loving fangirl". Because I guess seeing them in the flesh live would be enough for me to make my knees quake, but then I guess not having anyone to share that experience with or someone to hold me just in case I faint from an overwhelming adrenaline rush of blood to the head.

But now that you explain everything, it made me feel alot better, and for that I thank you. :D

Go by yourself!!! I've seen them 8 times, and 4 of them were by myself (2 of them I was also volunteering with Oxfam, which was great!) I had so much fun! Seriously, if you love them, it won't even matter. I have so much fun laughing at Chris' cheezy jokes to myself that it doesn't even matter.

I got a great seat for san diego cause I just bought one. I'm buying 2 for The Gorge show tomorrow, cause I'm making my boyfriend go with me (he's not entirely opposed, he does like them, plus, Road Trip!) I'm also going to try for reeeeaaaalllllly good seats for Carson, but if I get crap I'm not going cause I HATE that venue.

So, all in all, I say go alone!

i have gone to both coldplay concerts by myself and i wouldnt have it any other way

If you're really worried about that, you can always head over to your gig's thread here, make some friends to meet up with, and hang out with them there until right before the boys come on. :)

You are there to see Coldplay.

Once they start playing.

You won't care about anything in the world ;).

You would feel alone even if you had 1000 people you know around you.

I am going to a concert for my first time solo soon.

I can't wait :D :D :D.

I have gone to gigs by myself...in fact I still do from time to time. When you are married and have kids then it is hard for you and your partner to both go. I would rather go by myself than miss a band I really like.

Also I have been stood up by friends and family. I mean, if you are at the venue and your friend says they are stuck in traffic or something, I would feel gutted walking away and going home. I would rather go see the band on my own. The cool thing is sometimes you meet new people, which wouldn't happen if you go with friends.

Just a little over an hour to go before the presale! My stomach is in a HUGE knot!

guys, presale seats get the best! i was on the second it allowed me to buy and the first set came up 30 rows behind what i got yesterday on presale 1 hour after it started. just letting you all know.

Well..I am not a happy camper right now. LiveNation keeps saying it can't process my tickets. :(

there's nothing left on reserved 1, i've tried 30 times, it keeps coming with section 9, row cc, i got much better tickets yesterday.

I'm glad you can even get in. It won't let me purchase tickets for anything, Reserved 1, 2, or Lawn. :(

i've got two in section 9, row p or something. let me know.
