How far would you travel to see your beloved Coldplay?!

i hope no body starts showing up at the miley/ josissys concerts and that they go bankrupt and we raise enough money to send them to pluto and everyone has a party after that!

My only fear is that when I do get enough money to see them again, they'd have retired!

*touch wood*

same here

I'd go as far as necessary!:wacky:

Oh and Chris better not ever again think about retiring at 33 :stunned: N-E-V-E-R

Here's an idea for him since 42 is his lucky number he should go past 42 to strike the real success :P

hmm, well i've seen them five times so far...the closest they've been to my home in connecticut is an hour by car, though i've travelled between 3 and 5 hours by car, train, and bus to see them :P

i'm originally from Malaysia & will be going to see Coldplay in Wembley come September. :D

but my trip isn't deliberately just to see the band play tho...cos i'm actually going over for uni & the concert's at just the right time for me + i actually managed to get a ticket(!). so i guess there was some luck or Coldplay karma at work here.

^same with me. i'm travelling over 3,000 miles to see them in september at wembley, but i'm not just going to see them at wembley...by then i'll have relocated to the UK. i wouldn't have bought tickets if i didn't already have plans to move over there, but let it be said that at the time the tickets went on sale, i was only about 50% sure that my plans to move over there for uni would become a reality :P. i told myself that even if i wasn't moving over there, though, i'd save up over the summer to fly over there for a weekend just to use the tickets :D however, by the time wembley rolls around, i'll have moved from london to norwich, which is about 2 hours from london and is causing major technical problems...

if i had enough money, though, i'd travel anywhere to see them. the three gigs i really wish i could have been at this tour were the ones in rotterdam, abu dhabi, and warchild in london

The furthest I've gone so far was to NYC to see them on SNL in October (I live in DC)

But I'd go as far as I could if I had the money/opportunity! I wish I could go to Wembley so badly... :disappointed:

I would go all around the world if i had the $$$ :P seriously!! it would be so fun!!

but next month ill be seeing them in DC......i live close to Chicago, so thats a bit of a drive :P

everwhere! i would go if i had more money and since i am entering college freshman i say 3 shows in california is good for me!

Well, by some twist of fate, I have a business trip in Seattle when they will be playing in Vancouver, Canada, so I decided to go the June 21st date. I'm originally from the UK, but live in Houston, TX. Anyway, I don't think I'd make a trip like that JUST to see them... It would have to fit in with other plans...

Whoa, you're seeing Coldplay AND Snow Patrol 2 times! :bomb:

Since they're coming to my town, I plan to go to the West Palm Beach concert. That would be a 4 hour car ride.

I also thought about going to New Orleans, to see them AND Snow Patrol

But I don't know because I'm taking a summer class, and hopefully get a part-time summer job.

It would be hard, but not impossible to fly to New Orleans

I know! So excited! I was really surprised when they announced that and then I realised they would be in Vancouver too! I could make it 3 times if I go to the June 20th concert also, lol, but I don't think I'll make it :D - event though I hate thinking they are playing there two days in a row and i can probably only go to one...

I'm from Malaysia and I went to Singapore a few weeks ago to see Coldplay! Worth all the time and energy and money and petrol. :laugh3:

kimgan you're going to wembley too? Damnit!

*looks at money in wallet and hesitantly throws contents into hat*

yeah! *runs around the office all hyper...in my own head*

but, as i said, i'm actually not going all the way just to see them play on home ground. it's more of a pleasant coincidence in terms of timings. Malaysia/Singapore to UK is no joke! it's quite a trip...distance-wise & financially. :\

hats off to those who are willing to save up & do just that!

oh, & i'll chip in a dollar or 2 to the fund to send them teeny boppers to wherever it is we can afford to send them off to... :P

I can't believe Chris said he loves her music... I think he was drunk

at least he didn't say he loves her dad's music! then i'd think he really was drunk... :dozey:

i saw an episode of Hannah Montana yesterday (don't ask why!) & her dad sang some song called "I Want My Mullet Back"! *faints*

I hate thinking I could go to Nashville or New Orleans.

I really want to see Snow Patrol, but they're not coming anywhere in Florida

i actually have that fear...for U2. cos let's face it, they are never gonna come to M'sia for their world tour(s).

i wanna see them in their prime-ish & not when they do some reunion tour years on when their music can only be found in the Classic Rock section of a music shop.

paying a trip from here to the US or the UK, considering that the money conversion rate is really bad for us and also the plane tickets are way too expensive, it's impossible for me now (I'm just a student) ...

if I had a job I'd go anywhere to see them (and probably I'll do it in the future, because it's not like they are coming here once a year or every two years)

I'd do anything to go to wembley though

You can say that again :\

I always have to travel to see them but it is well worth it

I would sell my soul to the Devil to go & see Coldplay! :blank:

Billy Ray Cyrus's "Achy Breaky Heart" is one of the most excruciatingly annoying songs of all time. It's a "linedancers' favourite"........................ :dozey:

Haha yes !:) Poor Chris !

Good point for me ... I don't understand the lyrics :) :) :) But it still remains the voice :\

Great I don't know this song ;)

Sometimes it's better to be uncultured for these kind of things :D

I'm sure you'd like it Mr Cowboy Mark :P

(Do not refute my evidence you are cowboy! You even have PICTURE!)

you're better off culturally not ever knowing 'Achey Breakey Heart' ;)

when i saw that episode, cos it was all about how she was trying to get her "former superstar" dad to perform again, the first thing that went through my mind was "dear god! please don't sing the 'Achey Breakey' song!"....................tho a song called 'I Want My Mullet Back' isn't any better ultimately.
