X&Y

I hated the chorus and the way it started for a long time so I would skip it. Then I was learning how to play all the songs on the album, and realizd how amazing Jonny's guitar was, from the slide to the arpeggios in the chorus to the amazing tremolo picking during the bridge. Now I really like it.

and twisted logic.

uh many.... so far i remember that Trouble, at first i disliked it for the lyrics and the vid... but later that song turned me into coldplay as i said recently...

so more recent i remember i felt the same for Moses, hated it at first, loved it, and then hated it again, currently i like it.

it still happen even with other bands, first i kind of love/hate a song but i keep listening it, so i turn to like it.

I didn't like The Hardest Part or Chinese Sleep Chant at first...but I heard The Hardest Part live and fell in love with the acoustic one, then later the studio version. And one time, I forced myself to not skip Chinese Sleep Chant after listening to Yes, and I discovered that I liked it :P

I hated almost all of Coldplay, religiously hated them. Then I heard Speed of Sound, and went back and started to love them.

I really did find Clocks very annoying, but dont tell Will. I want him to eat that hat!

i didn't like a rush of blood to the head until recently and now i hav so much time for it. Viva la vida i didn't like at first listen but second listen i loved it, i dunno why because its a masterpiece. God bless coldplay

Sparks and Violet Hill. AROBTTH (the song) I used to not really like but now it's one of my favorites.

At first, I wasn't a really big fan of "Green Eyes", but now I love it. Whenever I hear it, I start singing along. =) If I remember correctly, I think I heard it while I was at P.F. Chang's one night. My friend and I were like, OMG, Coldplay! =P

Amsterdam and Green Eyes... I have no idea why I didn't like them, they are so awesome!

i didn't like 42 at first :\ i love it now tho :wacky:

I liked them from day one and I couldn't listen to Kingdom Come, but now I love it. Isn't it funny how this happenes?:D

well cemeteries of london, glass of water, strawberry swing. But later after going to shows and watching live and also the videos i saw really changed my mind afterwards.

Yes, for me. Now i asbolutely love it because of Chris' low voice. Politik i didn't like either, now it's one of my favs. And I recently discovered that A whisper isn't that bad at all. And for some reason I didn't like Sparks :stunned: How could you not?

But, if we turn it around, I can say that I adored Lost! after I had first heard it, now I can't stand it, I seriously want to tear my hair out as soon as the song starts. :\

Why do I not remember? :disappointed: I know there've been songs that I couldn't stand but since love, but I don't know which.

Hate is a strong word. I do remember that I wasn't too fund of Yes to begin with, but now it's on several playlists of mine. :) There are many that I didn't really like to begin with but have come to like and there are many that I didn't really care for that I've come to love.

And for some reason I didn't like Sparks :stunned: How could you not?

I didn't either! I was thinking the bass didn't fit in on a rock album or something. :freak: But the song's so soothing and lovely.

i dont understand! WHY do so many people dislike (and/or used to dislike) the studio version of The Hardest Part?? It's one of my favorite Coldplay songs.

anyways, i used to not like most of Parachutes (the album)

but more recently i've started to like Parachutes (the song), High Speed, and Sparks. i still can't really do Spies or Trouble. :\

but i've always liked Dont Panic, Shiver, and Yellow.

i always forget about We Never Change and Everything's Not Lost.

i dont even really have an opinion on those two.

I used to think Don't Panic was a bit annoying in the chorus.

Then I payed more attention to the "bones sinking..." and you know the actual lyrics. Plus Jonny singing. Appreciate it much more now.

Everything's Not Lost live is great IMO. I never loved that song as much as I do now until I saw a live version.

I didn't like Lost! because of the rap like melody. (still I dont like it too much but its good) :)

I've never liked "Lost!" I think it might be the most overrated Coldplay song ever.

"Lost?", on the other hand, is incredibly beautiful.

Strawberry Swing. Definetly. Now it's my most played song.

Me too! They don't even like it themselves, I don't undertand it! It's absloutely stunning and heartbreaking and brilliant and the piano is amazing, his voice is brilliant, the guitar, everything about it is SO GOOD!

I think Viva La Vida is the most overrated coldplay song ever and it's not even close. Worst song on the album, no question about it.
