What Coldplay song gives you the most imagery when you listen to it?For me Viva La Vida's songs out of all the albums gives you the most imagery.For me its Prospekt's March/Poppyfields. Especially when he sings "here I lie on my own in a separate sky" I can just imagine laying down in a nice field with the sun setting looking up at the sky. And the Poppyfields instrumental,the first time I heard it,I told myself,"I cant think of anything but poppyfields when I hear this."What songs do it for you guys?

Erm, well I always imagined the middle of 42 to be a chasing scene in a movie, lulz.

Altho, for cereal I guess The Escapist.

Warning sign always reminds me of Scotland which is where i first heard AROBTTH. I Listened to VLV in some really beautiful parts of france so now whenever I hear it I think of french chateaux's and winding streets from the past. But as for actuall imagery from the songs lyrics...hmmm...its probably Clocks.

LIT II, mostly because I imagine a "video" in my head (the video they did NOT make). It's kind of a cross between Hard Days Night (scenes on the train) and Phil Collins Take me Home. The boys are on a train in Japan, Chris singing, then various cuts to them out and about in Japan, either with fans, or at various locations. **sigh** But nobody asked me prior to making the video!

Prospekt's March/Poppyfields definitely gives me a lot of imagery. For some reason, I keep thinking of the movie Atonement whenever I listen to this song; it always reminds me of when Robbie heads off to war. Or maybe it's just because I saw one of the movie's promo pics of James McAvoy as a soldier, walking in a field of poppies.

 

This will probably sound weird, but Chinese Sleep Chant also gives me strong imagery. Whenever I listen to it, I feel like explosions of color are going off in my head.

At the moment it's Don't Panic. Whenever I hear that song I'm on Parliament Hill on a beautiful sunny day in July.
