September 17, 201114 yr Great show but I was a little disappointed they didn't play UIF and DLIBYH as promised. Paradise was awesome. I don't believe it was ever promised they would play those songs. Lol at Chris running off into the crowd during Fix You! :wacky:

September 17, 201114 yr Every Teardrop has really grown on me a lot lately. I think 1) Paradise came out and was... and it made it seem better by comparison 2) Now that I think about it, it sounds very U2-esque who I really like of course. Great show!! :) I kinda wanted to hear Up in Flames and Don't Let it Break Your Heart. But since they didn't play them I won't be listening until the new album comes out. :P

September 17, 201114 yr I feel like I have to come out of Coldplaying hiding to say that Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall sounds so much better live. I couldn't believe myself actually anticipating it?! But I was. That was a great ACL set. A shout-out to all who will be in Atlanta next weekend. Can't wait!

September 17, 201114 yr You've never been to a concert have you? It's a sort of 'courtesy' bands extend to the audience. They 'finish' and then to show their appreciation they come back on. In the case of Coldplay, the encore is predetermined, but some bands who really do like the audience will play longer and maybe even do 2 encores to give back to their audience. Unfortunately, I haven't been to any concerts :( Lol that must be awkward when everyone knows your coming back haha.
