I don't think 'Us Against the World' is accurate cause someone mentioned it cause they found fake lyrics on the internet... And I don't think 'Against the Wall' is actually a title but it's definitely lyrics...

yesterday I was trying to get through to cping a few times but my internet didnt work so well that i finally gave up and enjoyed the concert instead of spending my time with typing messages. I m sorry.

 

I updated the setlist a little but sadly I dont remember it completely and i didnt write anything down.

 

They have not played lovers in japan and speed of sound I think! :uhoh:

I think nowadays singles are dropped months before a new album drops, just to test the waters and do any last minute tweaking in the album before it goes to press... but thats just my opinion. I would suspect sometime in the summer.. maybe mid to late June, or possibly the end of summer.. fall maybe? But that would seem to be too much time if they are playing at least 3-4 new songs at these gigs.. hmmm...

 

I gotta think this one through... in the meantime I don't think ETIAW is the official 1st single.

 

I'm still sticking with my July 1st theory :sneaky: and also i think you may be right about ETIAW as not an official single because Debs mentioned on here twitter in a convo with @alejolo that a "song" will not be getting a video. Neither refer to the title of the song though so who knows...

We know that one of the new songs was a duet.

 

We also know that on wikicoldplay, Chris is listed in the Nov 2010 'Q' interview saying that they were strongly considering 'Up With The Birds' to be a duet song.

 

I'm betting that 'Up With The Birds' is "New Song #2" in the set, as someone who went to the show mentioned earlier that the duet came near or after GPASOYF.

wooow hurts like heaven and especially cartoon hearts make me want that album soo bad.

 

meanwhile i got used to ETIAW, its got this nice irish tune in it (jonny guitar-riff) which i quite like.

 

but cartoon hearts got this nice death-and-all-of-his-friends-5/4-rythm back which is quite a relief concering the fact, that ETIAW comes with a straight house-beat which i didn't like first.

New songs look promising, but I gotta ask.. Aren't there any piano songs? Can get a little tired of an entire album with funky hit songs!
