June 3, 201115 yr i'm disappointed. yes of course the band has to evolve and change their sound, but for me this sounds like a song any generic pop-rock/boy band could have made/sung.

When I first heard ETIAW, the intro ringed a bell but I couldn't put my finger on it...now I do :lol: So weird! It's like Coldplay was mixed with Paul Anka XD

(just curious because the ending is rather abrupt) as i assume if you read this and answer, it'll go down here, so if you'd please be so kind and leave me a PM, that would be just great, thank you! --- damn, i'd like to buy that one right now, but amazon.de doesn't offer it, and amazon.com says that downloads are restricted to us residents only so far, and since i'm in germany (and do not have iTunes either), that's not gonna work for me now =(

June 3, 201115 yr Well knowing it's a borrowed melody makes me like it more. It does sound a little different to old Coldplay because it's so techno/influenced, but I can't predict the "new style" from it. I'm enjoying it quite a lot now, and it makes me wish I was seeing them on one of these Festivals.
