First Coldplay Song You Ever Heard?

Featured Replies

I was ten years old at the time Clocks came out, my fourteen year old brother had some songs on the computer including Clocks and Trouble. Those were the first Coldplay songs I heard, immediately fallen in love.

My friend introduced me to Fix You and The Scientist one evening when I was really down in the dumps. Since then, I've never looked back! Coldplay have become an obsession and I am proud of it. :D

Yelllow!! cannot get tired of that song! <3

I probably heard Clocks several times when I was younger, but I probably didn't take notice of it.

Then there was Viva la Vida... in 2010.

I heard a few friends talk about it when I was in year 6 or 7 (at that time I was a Beatles fanatic). Then I watched the music video of it and just thought it was just like any other pop song. Then one day I was just bored of listening to the artists that I had on my iPod, and I so happened to have Viva la Vida and just starting listening to it over and over again until I decided to check-up more about Coldplay.

Then I got a copy of VLVODAAHF and got hooked ever since. Then I got Parachutes, then AROBTTH and the X&Y. And then the copy of MX I have is the leaked version

Clocks, the most beautiful song :)

Yellow, I was about 4 and it was the best song I've ever heard at that age!!

I was about 12 or 13, and then I heard VlV (how could you not ? :D)

My mum got VlVoDaahF as a birthday-present, but didn't like that much, so she said I could have it.

I listened and I listened and I am still listening today :)

Don't Panic, back in primary school. My brother always made me mixed CDs to listen to in the playground at lunchtime. The song came up and for months I listened to it without even knowing who the song was by.

The first one? Clocks

I knew Clocks long before i realised that was by Coldplay, you know, that piano riff is more famous than any other Coldplay song. A friend of my in 2008 was playing it in his cellphone so I said to him "Pleas, tell me now which is that song" obviouly said Clocks by Coldplay so I started listening more Coldplay songs. Then for my birthday my parents gave me an iPod that had 6000, invluding Parachutes, A Rush Of Blood To The Head and X&Y. Then in 2009 when another friend showed me Talk and Fix You I became a fan and started listening every song.

I don't actually remember the first song, but my mum was always a fan and would play thr albums in the car when I was very young. The first song I actually remember was Clocks on a BBC advert, but up until VLV I actually hated Coldplay. Only when that came out did I go back and rediscover their previous stuff with the benefits of my maturity on my side.

viva la vida !! :D :crown::dazzled:

Don't Panic.... My friend played this song for me and I was instantly intrigued. Until I heard Trouble... Then I was in love. The rest is history.

The first Coldplay song I ever heard and which is still one of my favs was TROUBLE!!!

Yellow.

I remmember watching the video on VH1 on a "Best Famous Couples" list show. They were obviously talking about Chris and Gwyneth - people I didn't quite know then. But that video stuck with me. I knew my brother listened to that band - next thing I knew I'm downloading Parachutes, AROBTTH and any videos the internet will find me.

Moses :)

Hi,

Mine is Moses.. It came in RnB mix tape in 2004

Loved Coldplay since...

Don't Panic is mine. My dad would play Parachutes every time we went on a road trip, and I got it on my iTunes. Don't Panic was my second favorite from that album. Yellow was my favorite, and only now do I realize that that was their first hit. But I only noticed Coldplay in reality when they released Viva. That caused me to look back to their previous two albums and get everything in between. Now I'm obsessed. :wacky:

My first song is Yellow. I still remember when I watched the video on MTV on 2000. I never stopped to listen to Coldplay since then
