"Fix You" live at Glastonbury 2005 (BBC video), one of the best versions for me. Chris making circles with the light, and unable to end the song lyrics on the farewell... , the fireworks... Best of best.

Fix you when I was a kid

I guess It would have had to have been yellow, clocks, or fix you

I'm thirteen, and I haven't been a real fan for long so one of those three

First song I can remember? Viva la Vida.

Clocks. I was barely four, I believe, when I heard it, and then it wasn't played on the radio again.

Then VLV came out, I looked that song up on YouTube, and came across Clocks. Within seconds of hearing it, I knew I'd heard it before. Then the insanity began.

Don't Panic. I was in primary school and it was on a mix CD my brother made for my Walkman.

...I thought it was Jack Johnson bahahahaha

Very similar to what happened to me! :D

This is basically the exact thing that happened to me.

For me my dad always played yellow, and i did like it but to young to go and look them up. and when viva la vida came out I was like yeah these guys are cool. Tracked back and found yellow and was like ooohhhh. And then became more and more obsessed every day!

The Scientist. Only then I didn't know it was Coldplay. Then I got VLVODAAHF for Christmas and instantly became a fan and discovered that they did The Scientist.

Christmas Lights.

Is the first song I remember hearing and really listening to and loving. But of course I had known of them and heard the singles before this.

But Christmas Lights was what started this craziness. :D

The first Coldplay song I first heard I think was Viva La Vida, but I really started loving them after listening to the Parachutes album.

Every teardrop is a waterfall.

It's strange that I never have been heard their singles before.

Saw the video clip of Speed of Sound at MTV (yes, there was a time that they showed videoclips ;) ) It was love at first sight

It must have been something on the A Rush of Blood To The Head album because my sister had it only I never paid any attention since I was little and didn't pay too much attention to music really. Then in '08 I heard Viva La Vida and fell in love with it. Soon after when I actually started re-listening to AROBTTH I realized I actually could sing along to like Clocks and The Scientist. :P

I think I heard Clocks first in a movie trailer when I was like 10. Then I heard Yellow on a mixtape my Dad made my Mom, and Speed of Sound on the radio later on.

I must have been twelve and heard Yellow on the radio with my parents driving us all somewhere. Just heard the b, f#, and e (i was pretty into guitar at that point), and after those three chords and johnnys riff and i was like, yep, that's the one man..and why and how are they the first ones to play that?? it's perfect!

It's an F#6; Some fan you are.

No, I kid.

Though I do believe Jonny uses an F#6. It can be played either way though.
