Heavensbee
This concert is probably going to be so different, so special, and so mind-blowing. I cannot wait another DAY for it.

Heavensbee
any idea about setlist ? Gut feeling it's going to be very unique. Maybe kind of like Paralympics Closing Ceremony, in a way. I wouldn't rule out a few surprises (maybe Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye West). Anything could happen! The fact that Xylobands are included makes this even better. PopArtist
Kanye has shows nearby in Atlantic City the 29th and 30th so I would bet he will make an appearance at the show on the 31st - whether he'll join up with Coldplay in addition to Jay-Z, I don't know though. ebl237
Floor seats vs. few rows up from floor Hi! We are about to purchase tickets for the 12/31 Barclays show. I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on floor seats vs. being a few rows up from the floor. We were fortunate enough to go to 2 of the Mylo shows this year, each being 2 sections over from the stage, once on the right and once on the left sides. I am only 5'4" and am unsure I would be able to see the stage as much as I want - but I really want to round out this tour on the floor!!! If anyone is recommending floor - what row is best? thank you!!!
Nickmora
My personal opinion is for the row up floor. Because even My height is too short. The advantage for the row up floor is that if even a tall person sits in front we can enjoy the show.
fakfak
It's worth keeping in mind that the floor seating encompasses a large area, and so your view will differ greatly depending where on the floor you are. I've attended a couple shows on the floor and it was ok, but I was never that far back, and am of average male height (about 5'9"). I've heard lots of complaints about floor seats from others though, so not really sure I can give you good advice. :\

Coeurli
French people: if you hear Coldplay twice in a row on RTL2, call right away and you might win tickets (+transportation+hotel) for the concert! http://www.rtl2.fr/radio/evenement/coldplay-en-concert-nouvel-an-new-york.html I've been listening to this radio almost non stop since yesterday and just realized that even if I won, I most likely wouldn't be able to go because I don't have a passport and it takes several months to get a valid passport for the US. nad
My sis and I are thinking of making a spontaneous NYE trip to NYC to see the show. Sadly, it's sold out. Has anyone used "stubhub"? How can you be certain that you're getting valid tickets. I've also looked at the broker site that Ticketmaster recommends (which I hate so much!), but they're so $$$ Do you think they'll release more tickets closer to the date? I've been checking everyday. At this point, I don't care where I sit, I just wanna be there!
Heavensbee
Typically for US shows on the MX tour, they would release some tickets either the day before or the day of the show. Most times I noticed it happening at about 11am-1pm the day of. StubHub can be a little sticky for concerts. After years of working at concert venues in box offices, I see the same scams time after time with the printable TicketFast tickets. Scalpers can resell multiple copies of those PDF tickets, so generally the first person that arrives gets in, whereas the others get turned away because the ticket barcode has already been scanned. If you want to buy from StubHub, try to order hard tickets (ones that are not shipped electronically) as those tend to be harder to commit ticket fraud with. I would personally wait for Ticketmaster to release some because there is a good chance they will. It's beyond the safest way to go. I wouldn't want you to buy StubHub tickets, get to the concert, and get turned away because of fraud :( Anyways, good luck! I'll be at this concert too :) soooo excited! At this point, I don't care where I sit, I just wanna be there! I bought tickets on StubHub for this show, and I admit I am a little nervous about it. Before purchasing, I did a ton of research on StubHub and found that most people receive good tickets and swear by StubHub, but of course there are some who receive fake ones. Unlike eBay, there's no way to check on the seller... I had to wait until I got my TicketFast tickets in the mail (which is weird because they can be sent electronically), googled the seller's name on the ticket, and it appears that he owns a business where he buys and resells tickets. I also searched for things like "(seller's name) ripped off" and things like that and didn't find any bad reviews on him, but I won't know if it's legit for sure until I get to the show. I usually buy tickets direct from TicketMaster to avoid scams, but I bought these tickets out of pure desperation and determination to see this show. I know I'm taking a huge risk but it's worth it to me. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

At this point, I don't care where I sit, I just wanna be there! I always use stub hub because usually if you dont buy concert tickets the min they go on sale chances are you wont have any luck because they will sell out in 2 hours. Many companys use bots aka automatic computers buy out close to all tickets to popular concerts so they are able to resell them while making a profit. Stubhub is much like this yet your dealing with an actual person. Lets say a person was lucky enough to get a ticket from ticketmaster from this concert worth $100 ....they could go on stubhub and charge $150 for the ticket and make a $35 profit.....they would only make a $35 profit and not the whole extra $50 because stubhub takes commission from ticket sellers and taxes (and that's how stubhub makes their profit) :) its all legal and as far as I know very safe. Ive never sold tickets but ive bought many tickets from that site including this concert :) Had to pay close to twice the face value (because coldplay and jayz make it a high demand concert plus the fact its a new years eve concert makes it a higher demand) but on a reg. Day ppl who sell tickets on that site usually only charge 25% more but for this concert prepare to pay twice the face value :) VERY WORTH it ...since it Coldplay ...new years n sold out hehe
