  • If I'm not mistaken the "sample" (not really a sample) is actually called Alchemist's Choir and it's a Synth on Garageband and Logic and it's playing on a harp sequence G3, A#3, C4.

This song has a opening track of the album, give the tone of Chris personal journey in this album. Chris was very introspective so much in this song and you hear that his relationship was't did well w

Maybe it helps that alchemy - the process of turning bad things into good, in a way - was always the main concept and "Alchemy" was in fact a working title for the album before they settled on Ghost S

The other is a heart with the initial letters of all the names of the wives and children of the band, Phil's included. And yes, the G is for Gwyneth.

I see, thanks!

i want to hear the studio version, leak please.

You know how this song is actually quite short and everybody loves it to bits? Think how awesome it would be if they released an extended version of this song? I would seriously looove that

I'm listening to the leak now (I pre-ordered it so don't worry,) and in the beginning you can hear a woman repeat, "What is happening, what is happening..." Such a beautiful song and those of you who feel in love with it when the boys first played it, you will not be disappointed.

wow that's amazing

I don't think she is saying something in particular - but I see how you can hear "what is happening"

I'm pretty sure that during the intro the women are not saying "what is happening"..

99% I'm wrong and you can think I'm going to say something stupid but, imho, the women are saying "alzati alzati" in Italian language ( translated = stand up stand up)

this is my fav of the album, simple, short, strong.

Such a good tune! Good opener imho.

The best opener so far. Other songs had their flaws but this one isn't.

The opening instrumental into AIMH is an opiate like no other. It is pure Coldplay bliss - I could listen to a 10 minute track of these two songs just looping - it's that beautiful - I like this track even over O (which is really good, but simple instrumentation) - AIMH is lush defined - thank you Coldplay for amazing openers to all of your albums - I'm glad they really think about that, or at least it seems like it.

Going back to listen to it again, on repeat...

This song is lovely although I have not heard the full album I really enjoyed this song, it's on my mind now I give it a 7 so fresh and so not popy.. Ok I'll just shut up now so I dont get trampled by Coldplay fans lol..

Best track of the album without a doubt.

One of my favourite songs not just from the album but also from Coldplay as well!

And what I hear is "Ghost stories, ghost stories..."

It's the only song I have heard aside from Magic and ASFOS and I must say it is a nice song with very few lyrics.
