Does anybody know at what time they'll be playing?

Which gig?

Whichever one, go to the live forum>2015, and find the thread you want and look there. It has all the answers you're looking for

I wonder if we'll hear multiple new tracks at the festivals or just one. I don't want very much of the album played live prior to its release like MX and X&Y were... it's like being told what your birthday gift will be months before recieving it.

Agreed. I don't mind one or two new songs, but I don't want half an album months before release.

I agree. I just want something that defines the sound and the concept of the album without giving too much away.

All we need to hear is one song, to get a taste of the new album. I wouldn't want more than two songs played, it would kill the anticipation, especially if it's another short album like GS which i hope it won't be. [emoji51]

My preferred way would be the album dropping without a warning.

Not just a single? The entire album at once? Wouldn't that ruin the excitement?

Yes it would. [emoji53]

A whole album would statistically increase the chance for me to have new stuff to add to my playlist immediately, since every Coldplay album so far (even GS) has had at least 1-2 songs that I like. :)

I just want a teasing before the release, like the ones from MX and GS. Since I wasn't an actual fan back then, I didn't feel the excitement of those teasings and I would like to feel it with this album. But it's getting hard to believe they will do a teasing, tbh.

Wow the band is truly not giving us anything... this silent wait is feeling like the longest of them all.

I'm thinking that they won't post anything until the festival. Too long of a wait. [emoji51][emoji30]

So Chris has done up to 50 sessions with Avicii (Tim Bergling) for his new album? That is crazy. Even spread out over 2 years that is a lot of side work!

It would make you wonder whether the album is farther away than we think. In the past Coldplay have always had a heftly amount of space between albums- A span of two to three years. Considering GS is only over a year old and all the side work Chris has done with Avicii the album could be a while off yet. Maybe that's why we are getting complete radio silence from the Coldplay camp as it could be too early in the development process to tease anything. Scary thought.

Um, we will prob get something from the IHeart and Global Citizen Fest, so hold on just a few more weeks

That is extremely scary, especially when we've been lead to believe it's almost ready, or going to be ready this fall...

Imagine ... they just play the same setlist as GS tour setlist :stunned:

There's no way that's true. It can't be. They've been working on the album since October of last year.

That would be a disappointment to a lot of people. [emoji17]

It's also impossible. Seriously, are we just looking for things to complain about?

I wasn't trying to complain, it was kinda " hey ! what a nightmare it'd be! " but I know it's quite impossible

I know that won't happen.
