Thanks ! Actually just a few mins, almost no more than typing the text, it came quite naturally. There's always Coldplay melodies stuck in my head so I find it relatively easy to come up with new (if very crappy) lyrics on the spot.

Another monday, last day of August and nothing new to be heard. Crap.

 

"I live to see the world"

I dreamt the album was called "A Head Full Of Full Of Full Of... Dreams !" and the artwork was a fire on a black backdrop. It was pretty ugly tbh. I was pretty disappointed ^^

I'm not sure if I'm expecting, but I'm certainly hoping that AHFOD has a sciencey vibe to it. I feel like A Head Full Of Dreams could be the head of an unconventional scientist who maybe gets his fantasies mixed up with actual science. I was hoping this months ago and then Coldplay tweeted this...

Which just made me more excited. What I find a little intriguing is that the intro of this video bares similarities to the outro of the True Love video.

Well if Coldplay keep making lyrics and song titles with platitudes like dreams, "anything is possible", true love, light at the end of the tunnel, skies full of stars and birds flying above, no wonder we can find similarities with nearly everything (sorry, not to offend you in any way strawberry tom !)

 

I'd like them (Chris) to work harder on the lyrics this time. Since MX it's been mostly dull.

That video was used during the X&Y tour when they played The Scientist. So that's the connection there.

 

But I was in the same boat of wanting a more 'science-y' vibe. I think the closest we got was X&Y. I thought we would get it for LP4 (or was it LP5) when there was a diary entry where Chris was asking someone to build a solar system. Didn't pan out, and I don't think we'll get it for LP7 either, but it's something I would've liked.

That's a nice idea I never heard of before. It would be interesting to hear a sciencey themed Coldplay album, but I'm sure this won't happen with AHFOD.

Btw I think Speed of Sound also touched on sciencey themes a litle bit, although ultimately it is more aboutawe and believing in natural phenomena.
