I knew there would be a song called AHFOD in the new album, but I wasn't expecting it to be released as the lead single nor as a single. That's just awkward. I know they kinda did the same with VLV, but still.

It matters to me. I like good song titles. I like song titles that make you want to listen to that song. Compare these two:

I realy don't know, if we can trust this article regarding the fact they write that Ghost Stories was released in 2013. I have to say that these could be unbased rumours that have nothing to do with reality.

I would too. Any song. But still, I want good song/album titles. They can invent amazing titles, so it's a bit disappointing when they name their (first) single(s) after the album.

Parachutes is pretty dull too tbh. But it catches the concept of the album perfectly. I hope AHFOD manages to do the same.

1. To kind of get back to everyone and everything I missed. Putting multiple quotes IMO makes it clear as possible to see what I mean.

Maybe it'll be a stupid question, but do you think that Coldplay will do a big world tour after the release of this album ?

Pretty weak rumour imo. They throw out a random day just to give it some legitimacy and then they pick the one song title that we all know is pretty much guaranteed to be in LP7 (or at least the LP7 era).

 

edit: What I mean by that is, it's been confirmed (by the oracle) that every era's associated LP has a song within its era with the same name.

 

This is different than the 'colour song theory' which was debunked by the oracle so don't even play that game with me.
