People are making assumptions off of pictures. Don't worry.

 

As far as no information coming out, I guarantee everyone present either signed a form or something similar. Secrecy is very much a thing still, and I'm sure the band made some nice measures to ensure nothing would leak out. They've done this before.

Please don't hate me for this because I want to give you a warm welcome and good inpression of the site, but I'm kinda sick of seeing these giant, multi-quote responses. :)

 

Sorry about that! If you like I could stop doing them (or put them in a spoiler so you wouldn't have to scroll through them). I have two reasons why I do this:

 

1. To kind of get back to everyone and everything I missed. Putting multiple quotes IMO makes it clear as possible to see what I mean.

 

2. People really don't seem to appreciate double-posting here so instead of making multiple posts I put them all into one comments.

They must give us a very good album, because the space between Ghost Stories and A Head Full Of Dreams is being too much. I don't mean in terms of time, but they revealed the title of the album too early and we all are getting too much impatient.

No they could still play the single Friday and release the single in October. I can't see them not playing anything new on Friday really.

Saket heard it too! While I don't know why he won't give us any information (it's not like he's actually leaking the song, coldplay won't track him down for that), I'm sure he's not lying about hearing it. They definitely must have played it when filming the MV.

 

Hey, they didn't make us sign anything. In terms of the song/album/shoot, I can't give out any details since that would hamper the band - they do monitor the forum. Trust me, I know how it feels waiting for a song to come out when you know it's out there (did the same exercise in Viva La Vida era). All I can say is think more "Paradise" and less "Viva La Vida".

 

In terms of release date, I'm guessing (no one has talked to me about it - PURE guessing) that October (as the magazine mentioned) could be right. I noticed in one of the pictures (posted by someone), they had Ravan statue - something that we burn during a festival called Dusshera. Dusshera is slated for October 22nd so the release can be around that (again, a PURE FAN THEORY, no one has told me any of this).

I wouldn't even be surprised if they played it live during iHeartRadio, then released it as a lyric video on monday, make it available on iTunes etc the following friday and release the videoclip early October. That way they're spreading the buzz over a longer period of time.

That Twitter thing is pure speculation imho.

Anyone else in here could predict the same.

And i wouldnt be bothered the new song is probably more Paradise -styled than Viva. Because its pretty much what im expecting from AHFOD, and thats not bad at all. We cant change it anyway.
