LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"

Nothing against Chris, but if he's happy with it then that probably means it's very poppy and sugary. Especially with all these people talking about a beat drop

frankly, i thought the same thing :)

As we have discussed many times before there is a difference between a fun, upbeat, happy song you can move your feet to and an EDM ASFOS sytle thing. Lovers in Japan is the best example for that, definitely a "happy" song in my ears and one you can move your feet a bit to but not too poppy.

OH GOD OKAY I CAN DO THIS

Square One --> Circle None

What If --> idk

White Shadows --> Blacklight (this sounds plausible)

Fix You --> Break Me

Talk --> Silence / Sing

X&Y --> um . . . idk

Speed of Sound --> Stoplight? :lol:

A Message --> idk

Low --> High

The Hardest Part --> The Easiest Whole (that doesn't even make sense why am I doing this)

Swallowed in the Sea --> idk

Twisted Logic --> Straight Chaos (okay that's a cool name I want this to happen)

Til Kingdom Come --> Before *something* Goes

Are any of these close :awesome:

Yup, there might be one of those in the new song. Also, for the additional background voice (unsure if it's a collaboration) - if I am not wrong, I heard a familiar pop star.

This. As basically the whole world knows at this point, I'm a huge Viva fangirl, and Lovers In Japan is what I consider to be one of Coldplay's best danceable poppy songs. It's got that bright, happy feel and yet it still has substance in its lyrics and instrumentation that makes it really interesting. I have actually danced (badly) to it in the past :P

My vote is for either Blacklight, Break Me, or High.

Also, oh please God no

Sounds about right.

I am trying really hard to not fall into a pit of despair without having heard the song first.

Don't let me down, Coldplay :bigcry:

if anyone's interested, from the same person who heard the song partially:

sha ‏@kanyays

the single basically has Jonny starting it and some voices that sound like AIMH and then a beat drop of drums and some electronic bg sounds

sha ‏@kanyays

there was also some voices thing that sounded like those voices in Always in my Head you know what I mean like background

Not to forget bono and chris are good friends. Part of promotion maybe?

Or maybe just a coincidence.
