As we have discussed many times before there is a difference between a fun, upbeat, happy song you can move your feet to and an EDM ASFOS sytle thing. Lovers in Japan is the best example for that, definitely a "happy" song in my ears and one you can move your feet a bit to but not too poppy.

This. As basically the whole world knows at this point, I'm a huge Viva fangirl, and Lovers In Japan is what I consider to be one of Coldplay's best danceable poppy songs. It's got that bright, happy feel and yet it still has substance in its lyrics and instrumentation that makes it really interesting. I have actually danced (badly) to it in the past :P

Not excited that the album features a collaboration by a pop star. Merry Clayton is fine, but a pop star is a recipe for disaster. Princess of China sounded much more better in the Germany festival version before it featured Rihanna. They should have learned the lesson.
