LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"

Recommended Posts

e heard Jonny’s guitar and Chris was bouncing up and down next to us and he was like “this is gonna make people dance” and all of our heads were just crowded in a circle all huddled over his phone listening to the song.

And then the beat dropped and the drums came in and all of our heads shot up

Sounds somewhat accurate! Hint: the lyrics has an antonym of an X&Y track.

ok, so this is from the karma event that chris took part a month ago. i have no reason to believe these lucky fans are lying

That actually seems like legit information. From what they are saying the first single will probably be ETIAW style and very MX'ish. But please keep the ASFOS part down a bit, "the beat dropping" we dont want an EDM club hit.

ok, so the takeaways:

- AHFOD album was on chris' phone before global citizen. (they can still be working on tweaking things around even now)

- a beat drop will be featured in one (next?) single

- possible collab? but maybe not rihanna? (thanks saket for the hint)

- chris seems pretty pleased with the album/song

I was just thinking, everyone is posting that "cover" and stuff and yet we can not be 100% sure that it's the new album. I mean it would make sense and it's probably very likely but still, a bit odd that everyone is going crazy about nothing confirmed yet. What if it's just a huge troll… :laugh3:

OH GOD OKAY I CAN DO THIS

Square One --> Circle None

What If --> idk

White Shadows --> Blacklight (this sounds plausible)

Fix You --> Break Me

Talk --> Silence / Sing

X&Y --> um . . . idk

Speed of Sound --> Stoplight? :lol:

A Message --> idk

Low --> High

The Hardest Part --> The Easiest Whole (that doesn't even make sense why am I doing this)

Swallowed in the Sea --> idk

Twisted Logic --> Straight Chaos (okay that's a cool name I want this to happen)

Til Kingdom Come --> Before *something* Goes

Are any of these close :awesome:

Nothing against Chris, but if he's happy with it then that probably means it's very poppy and sugary. Especially with all these people talking about a beat drop

As we have discussed many times before there is a difference between a fun, upbeat, happy song you can move your feet to and an EDM ASFOS sytle thing. Lovers in Japan is the best example for that, definitely a "happy" song in my ears and one you can move your feet a bit to but not too poppy.

Yup, there might be one of those in the new song. Also, for the additional background voice (unsure if it's a collaboration) - if I am not wrong, I heard a familiar pop star.
