I had already mentally prepared myself for an early 2016 release. :bomb:.specially after Will's reply to a fan yesterday about how they are still working on the album. It also sounded plausible with the expected uplifting theme of the album that it wouldn't be released at a gloomy time of the year!! oh well...

That entire conversation is A+++.

They have said a Christmas album for a while about this, I actually predicted 4 December at the beginning of the month.

Could someone explain, why would a poster appear out of blue randomly like that? As long as there is only one photo of it, i refuse to believe :D

could December 4th be a date of a London concert somehow?? the 1st promo gig for the album?

 

This subtle London tube ad is confusing me. I thought they will start promoting in the US (LA in particular) like they did with GS..Any Ads in the LA so far?

a London tube ad showed up with a date december 4. Speculated to be the date of the album release..

You literally predicted every single day from today to the end of time...so don't act like "you called it" from the beginning.

Summary would be on coldplaying.com main site I would think. But in the mean time...

 

 

roughly 12 hours ago maybe, a music editor on Twitter posted a poster inthe London Underground around Waterloo station which looked a lot like something that would be for Coldplay. It was similar in terms of style font and colour it also had a date, December 4, on it which would be a date to pencil in as a release date of some sort.

I really love that flower of life design, and the theme that I can see so far for this album seems to really mirror and reflect what Coldplay have always been about... Finding meaning and their place within a bigger world - This album may be the sound of them finally achieving that... I'm really pleased and excited to see what's planned around the corner :)

Well, I think with two separate sightings (and plenty of unspoken ones!), I like to think it gives validity to the poster itself. :smoking: I do find it interesting there only seems to be one, though. Kinda funny.

Since Coldplay Twitter is so quiet recently and we've got this single poster with a possible album cover/release date, perhaps there are more clues around to be discovered?
