Just already now with the short snippets i start to feel i'm liking the live versions - which of course still carry influences by the producers, but still less - more than those on the album, because they sound more like themselves, whereas the album versions really carry this "imprint" or Stargate... I guess it is more that people move on with their lives and decide not to spend some time here... I know several members who despite not appearing here frequently are already planning to go to a concert. These days you can learn almost every single detail about the band by just following them in social media and maybe also following an account like ColdplayAtlas. So the need of being here (where in the past many many little details were discovered here at first) is not that big now. In amount of people participating, I would say is more or less the same, perhaps only a bit less. Hmm. Makes sense. Probably the combination of the complete change in sound and the new sound moving too close to mainstream for comfort, and then with the change in style people didn't like it and started to realize maybe they needed to move on from Coldplay, and come back to reality.
