[18-SEP-2015] Coldplay iHeartRadio Music Festival, Las Vegas

I'm glad we got to see and hear the band, just feel bad that that crowd was not appreciating them as they should. Do they have any idea how lucky they are?

I really want to know the story behind the flower wreath on stage. I guess they got it from India.

And I spotted some Hindi written on their speakers. Maybe someone from India could translate them for us.

They probably realised how the crowd wasnt interested and it would be weird to play a unheard song to them

They have to be surprising us. What in the world was the point of bringing all of the new stuff if you WON'T EVEN PLAY NEW STUFF??????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I recorded audio+video... and at the end you can clearly tell something's not right. His eyes are wide open like whats going on??? Seriously.... somethings nor right.

This was unexpected. Usually Coldplay performances are glitchless. This certainly threw them off...and they pulled the new song. I am certain of it.

I hear there was a mention of special guest and I know they would never promise something like that without delivering. Also they had the new clothes and theme and all, therefore my conclusion is that something went wrong. This would also explain Chris odd bewilderment...

Something went off plan I tell ya :/

Coldplay are a well oiled machine with everything they do being very deliberate. I highly doubt they made it a "game time decision" whether or not to release a new song. Those 5 songs they played were set from the beginning i can guarantee it.

Well, that was it.

Short and powerfull and a bit confusing.

Happy to see Coldplay perform again, in their new clothes.

I guess the countdown to GlobalCitizen festival can start. :-D

I'm going to catch up some sleep now.

I read on Twitter that it just translates to "Coldplay"

His wide-eyed look did look really strange.....

"All I wanted, is right here in my arms"

I swear in my arms sounds familiar.. Coldplay definitely teasing us.

Something definitely went wrong tonight like the rest of y'all sayin

Soooo, what do you guys think were the highlights/stand out points of the show?

For me it was the short fuck up in the beginning of Viva

So why mentioning a new guest if there is none? Why the new clothes and wreaths? You ´re right, they are most deliberate, but something was off and I think that´s the reason we have not heard the new song. Ours is all speculation of course, but Chris looked positively stunned in the end, and not in the good way...

Yeah I kept thinking of Magic or Ink when he was singing that line.....not sure why though

Oh, thank you.

and I'm out! See you all in the am for me! nighty night!

Chris has always been nervous at events like this with tons of other artists. Doesn't help that this sort of festival is really rushed to pack so many big artists in just a few hours. Also factor in they've been off for a while. That bit at the end of looking around was strange, but let's not speculate. He said one more song and they did one more song. Each artist gets 4-5 songs depending on the length of their set.

Well ASFOS has the line "I want to die in your arms" so "All I want, right here in my arms" is kind of like the opposite

There was no official word from Coldplay that they would be playing with a guest, just speculation. I agree something was off, but I don't think they held back a new song.
