August 29, 20169 yr I just had a very surreal and scary experience a little bit ago... I was crossing the street on my way back to my dorm and some idiot decided to run through a red light, nearly hitting me at high speed. :( I don't think I've ever been that scared before in my life. :worried: So all I can think of right now is this lyric: "Every step that you take Could be your biggest mistake It could bend or it could break That's the risk that you take"

And it's sure to spoil my day But in voices loud and clear you say to me, "It's only superstition It's only your imagination It's only all of the things that you fear and the things from which you can't escape" This is funny since I once thought this said "What if cars don't go my way?" as opposed to what it actually was. :lol: Up until very recently, and by that I mean like a few days ago recently... and I've been a Coldplay fan for over a year now :D I thought the Everglow lyric was a reference to this as the whole album had lots of lyrics flashing back to their earliest days. (Most notably Up&Up mentioning fixing up a car to drive in it again, rather than the young Chris in "Bigger Stronger" waning to be bigger stronger and drive a faster car. Almost feels like it shows a progression of maturity throughout the years, although admittedly the music doesn't reflect that, the music they made back then would reflect what you'd normally expect from more mature people while recently they've been making music more or less aimed at a younger population.... don't worry, not a hate comment, just stating facts and I still like their new album :D) But that of course ended when I learned the actual lyric for Only Superstition :D
October 5, 20169 yr "Guilty of nothing but geography" This line is making me sad today because I thought I'd be able to go to Europe for a concert but either expensive flights, date of the concert or school don't let me go. Anyways, I'll be waiting for the next leg to be announced, hopefully I'll go to one of those :)
