Do many people here watch local bands, in local pubs/clubs. Just wondering if theres is any talent thats worth raving about in your area. I seen a great band called "Moses" last week in a local pub, they were excellent. I told them they should cover Moses by coldplay but im guessin alot of the audience wouldnt have heard the coldplay song hehe.

wow it's been ages since I made a new bands thread. ANYWAY, these are 2 guys from Southampton :) I saw them live agessssss ago when they were really unknown. U2's latest album is out next month U2 have smashed Irish box office records with ticket sales for their Dublin concerts, after more than 150,000 were sold within 50 minutes. Tickets for the two concerts at the city's Croke Park stadium were released at 8am on Friday morning. "Nothing like it has ever been seen in Ireland before," said Justin Green, spokesman for organisers MCD Promoters. "We could have sold a million tickets." To all you canucks out there, where do you go to get concert listings of upcoming Canadian shows? I've looked at muchmusic.com, iam.ca, admission.com and ticketmaster.ca, but is there any other good ones that might have smaller shows listed? Thanks and I love you. :)

i don't like it. i really don't. right now, there's nothing that i can listen to that will actually make me feel like i'm in love with it. i usually tire out of favourite bands pretty quickly and right now i'm in an in between phase, i just got out of a short love for a band. i'm weird like that, i dunno. i hope coldplay release something amazing that i can listen to forever without getting bored, or at least it can seem like that. or some other band i come about. right now i just throw in my cd player whatever there is. anyone else ever feel like this or is it just me? :P

Just curious to see how many of ya were able to get tickets fer U2 this spring/summer. I got tickets fer both Philadelphia shows...both shows sold out in less than 10 minutes! I was unable to get tix fer NYC. I heard the NYC and 2 NJ shows sold out in 6 minutes! If anyone here is going to the Philly shows, lets hang out and party before the show! :rolleyes:
