Not sure if this is supposed to go here... meh. :D Has anyone found that with their favourite artists, there is one track number on albums of theirs that are the best track of that album? For me, it's track three. Examples: Coldplay - 'White Shadows', 'Lost!' Jack's Mannequin (who you've probably never heard of, but are worth checking out... kind of an American Coldplay, only not as good as Coldplay) - 'Bruised' Green Day - 'Welcome to Paradise' (Kerplunk! version). Anyone else found this for different track numbers? Post examples if you have!

"What type of music do you like?" That question is kind of hard to answer, for me. Perhaps the answer should be 'Not your type', assuming that over here the music is rather American mainstream. But maybe if the question is answered in terms of genre, then it's easier. Or maybe not because it's possible to like many genres. What do you normally answer when someone asks you that question?

Okay, so last year a pretty cool band played a gig at the student union of my university, I bought their E.P., but it took me til now for me to decide to make a thread. Nothing too original, in a pretty mainstream alt rock vein taking bits from coldplay, Keane, The Killers, U2 etc. but they do it really well and since they're not that well known at all, I thought I'd share them with you. Felt like channeling dijon there. Wintersleep, amazing Halifax band that are criminally underrated. Opened up for Editors over in Europe for a bunch of shows. Indie rock at its most awesomeness. The voice can be a love it or hate it thing. Personally I love it. http://www.wintersleep.com
