I've decided I want to work on several projects that I'm putting together for my best friend that I plan on giving her when I see her Saturday afternoon. One of these things is a special mixtape. What I want to do is put together a collaboration of various songs that show her how much I value her friendship as my best friend. The problem is, I'm having trouble finding songs lyrically that truly express what I feel about the topic. It may be just that I'm having a brain freeze, or that a good chunk of my music doesn't have lyrics that can be interpreted in such a manner. Well, she's starting her music career and she released only 6 songs on her debut EP 'All the right wrongs'. She's releasing her debut album this year. Hey all. I'm on Garageband at the moment and I'm working with (probably the stereo mix of) Blue Jay Way by The Beatles, and I want the vocals in both left and right channels, but the vocals are panned right, and the rest are left. My question is, how can I center the vocals, or make a new track with them panned the opposite side? Do you get what I mean? And I've also got Audacity and an expired trial version of Ableton Live something or other.
