Seth was absolutely incredible tonight. The support band were excellent too - I got their CD signed after the gig :D Can't remember their name (began with B...) but they were 3 lovely Swedish girls who played Sexy-Stockholm-Folk-kinda-thing. No idea how Seth does that every night - such a fast, energetic performance (with a few slightly slower ones here and there in between for him to catch his breath) - I actually got a stitch at one point from all the clapping, stomping, head-bopping - mad! I bagged one of the setlists so I shall post it when I recover it from the car later (it's currently pouring down).

I searched and couldn't find a thread dedicated solely to Goldfrapp... If I have missed it I apologise So fine music fans of the world, any takers?! I was never a fan of Goldfrapp's previous stuff... but when I first listened to the new album 'Seventh tree', well, wow is all I can say. A&E is superb. I would recommend 'Seventh Tree' to anyone who likes all things electronic... and a little bit of easy listening music on lazy-hazy summer days

Hands down the best Debut album of 2010. I'm calling it with 8 months to go. I have had this album for about a month now and it is really great, reverb-soaked American east coast indie rock. Anyone else a fan? Another awesome UK Indie/Rock Band from Manchester. Brilliant first album, St Jude, and they have a second out this February. Brand new song to hit the radio 'You Overdid It Doll' is awesome. There's a free download of another new song on their website, http://www.thecourteeners.com/

Bloated, bedraggled and out of tune: Whitney Houston disappoints London on the latest leg of her troubled world tour By Georgina Littlejohn Last updated at 11:33 AM on 26th April 2010 Comments (248) Add to My Stories Much like her most popular song, her adoring fans have always loved Whitney Houston. But that could be changing after the singer's comeback world tour went from bad to worse on the latest leg of the tour in London's O2 arena last night. The 46-year-old's first concert in the capital since 1999 was memorable - but unfortunately for the 20,000 fans, for all the wrong reasons. Houston admitted to the crowd that she couldn…

I did a search for a thread about this but I can't find one. So any fans? I just got around to getting their album, and it is fantastic! I get the impression that they are quite impatient musicians - everything is very quick.. if you see what I'm saying! It's motivating :P Decent Days and Nights is on repeat at the moment  I recommend that fans of The Bravery or the Killers check them out :) Or anyone, really!

Hola! I'm just curious. Do you like music in that language? And if you do what band/solist do you like? I suppose that most of you will listen to Latin music, from south america, but not many "spanish" singers. So tell the latin too!:)

Thought they are due a thread by now since their superb new album is due out soon: TONES OF TOWN - OUT 22 JANUARY 2007 in UK - 20 Feb in US Tones Of Town is the follow-up to their 2005 self titled debut. For anyone new to them - From the North-east England, they were formed by original Futureheads drummer Peter Brewis, along with his brother David and Andrew Moore. They don't really sound like The Futureheads though. Anyway, I think they are a great band and a great example of some of the great, clever music being made by some of the musicians/bands in my region. That's it. Been a fan for a while yet no thread here so....

Midlake are a five piece band hailing from Texas and man, they know how to write an album. I ordered their new album "The Trials of Van Occupanther" off the net a fortnight ago and have been listening to it non-stop since it arrived last week. It's an album that is just so ENJOYABLE, and in all situations. VERY Neil Young sounding, but where Neil has made has trademark on loose imperfections, Midlake often sound like a marching band dropping whizz, especially on their killer rock tracks like the wonderfully powerful "Young Bride". "Roscoe", the records opening song, was the four and half a minutes that basically made me fall for this band. In contention for song o…
