Promoting genocide for whites? Noel Ignatiev and the culture of Western suicide Part of a long tradition that has opposed white interests and identity — the culture of critique that has become the culture of Western suicide. There has been a renewed interest recently in a 2002 article by Paul Craig Roberts, actually the first of two (here is the second), drawing attention to a rather frightening phenomenon at Harvard University: the effort by a professor, Noel Ignatiev, and his journal, Race Traitor, to promote the “cultural and psychological genocide of whites.” Now that’s an odd choice of words—guaranteed to draw attention to himself and his ideas. Was he in an…

By Alastair Macdonald JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Members of Israel's ruling party voted on Wednesday for a new leader to replace Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who has promised to resign following a corruption investigation in which he faces indictment. But whether Tzipi Livni or fellow cabinet minister Shaul Mofaz secures the support of a majority of the 74,000 members of the centrist Kadima party, Olmert may stay on as caretaker premier for weeks or months -- and Israel's fractious coalition politics could yet mean an early parliamentary election. Ballot boxes in dozens of party offices and other venues across the country opened at 10 a.m. (0700 GMT). In the first four…

(CNN) -- Sen. John McCain has picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate, CNN learned Friday. The 44-year-old Palin, who's in her first term as governor, is a pioneering figure in Alaska, the first woman and the youngest person to hold the state's top political job. She catapulted to the post with a strong reputation as a political outsider, forged during her stint in local politics. She was mayor and a council member of the small town of Wasila and was chairman of the state Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, which regulates Alaska's oil and gas resources, in 2003 and 2004. The conservative Palin defeated two so-called political insiders to win the govern…

name the movie scene, which struck you or shocked you so much that you can't get it out of your head. Mine is: In Master And Commander where Mr. Hollom thinks he is cursed, and believes the Spanish Ship will appear everytime he is on the look out, one night as he is on watch he picks up a cannon ball, Thanks a younger officer for what he has done and jumps off the side of the ship. Just the way the scene was acted out and filmed made it so vivid.

Hi, I just signed a petition asking G8 leaders and the UN Secretary General to commit to providing the food, seed, and fertilizer necessary to help some of the world's poorest countries beat the ongoing hunger crisis. I hope that you'll join me in taking action here: http://www.one.org/un2008/?rc=un2008taf We've seen aid achieve some amazing things in recent years - like over 29 million more children in school for the first time, and over 2 million more Africans with access to AIDS medications. But we must recognize the ongoing hunger crisis for the obstacle that it is and work to overcome it if we hope to continue our success. Thanks Please help out:)

BRING Back . . . Star Wars airs on Channel 4 on September 14. FUNNYMAN Justin Lee Collins has filmed his most ambitious telly project yet — reuniting the cast of Star Wars. The Sunday Night Project presenter set himself the biggest challenge in the Empire — linking up the stars who played heroes such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Along the way he discovered the secrets of Princess Leia’s underwear and tried to heal a bitter rift between the actors who played droids C3PO and R2D2. Justin, who has already brought the stars of Grange Hill and The A-Team back together, said: “It doesn’t get any bigger than Star Wars. We’d done The A-Team and we’d d…

Michael Phelps Squeezes Out Another Victory At The Playboy Club Radar Staff Writer Neel Shah spent the evening in Las Vegas (more on that later), and was kind enough to send along these fine photos of Olympic hero Michael Phelps "massively skeeving on girls at the Playboy Club" in that city's Palms Casino. Neel notes that the Olympian was accompanied by an entourage of striped-shirted schmucks, one of whose sole duties appeared to be pointing a flashlight at anyone attempting to photograph the swimmer during his efforts to obtain a gold medal in ass-grabbing. ("It was unreal," says Neel. "Within moments of entering the club he summoned two girls over... I've …

The Bureau of Land Management wants to "(1) sell older and certain other unadopted animals 'without limitation' to any willing buyers and (2) euthanize those wild horses and burros for which no adoption demand exists" in order to bring its budget into balance. As AZ Central reports, this means "euthanizing some 33,000 horses that have already been rounded up and are currently being held in long-term facilities." Historically, both of these acts have been prohibited by law. http://uspolitics.about.com/b/2008/07/11/blm-wants-to-kill-captured-mustangs.htm

What does Europe teach us? They face an even bigger problem. Part 2 They're respectable, wealthy, well-raised and educated. They know history, speak different languages and travel. They hold high posts at banks, financial corporations and law offices. These are the new European nationalists A short description of our first installment: Ethnic battles are erupting in the heart of the EU. Belgium’s Flemings and Walloons are fighting among themselves and hoping to split the country in two. At the same time, Arab emigrants are fleeing to Belgium en masse. Will Belgium face another Kosovo scenario? “The most popular child’s name in Brussels and Antwerp is ‘Mohammed,’” s…

A police firearms officer left a gun in the toilets of a coffee shop where it was found by a member of the public, the Metropolitan Police (Met) has said. The firearm was left in the toilets of a branch of Starbucks in Edgware Road in central London last Friday. The female officer concerned has now been removed from operational duties while an investigation is carried out. The pistol was eventually linked to her when police compared its serial number to those logged at a police armoury. A Met Police spokesman said: "A police-issue firearm was left unattended in a central London cafe on 29 August and was found by a member of the public. "The weapon belo…

Tesco checks out wording change Tesco is to change the wording of signs on its fast-track checkouts to avoid any linguistic dispute. The supermarket giant is to replace its current "10 items or less" notices with signs saying "Up to 10 items". Tesco's move follows uncertainty over whether the current notices should use "fewer" instead of "less". The new wording was suggested to Tesco by language watchdog The Plain English Campaign. Tesco said the change would be phased in across its stores. "Saying up to 10 items is easy to understand and avoids any debate," said a spokesman for The Plain English Campaign. "Fewer" should be used when you are talking abou…

The US rock band whose pyrotechnics sparked a fire that killed 100 people have agreed to pay $1m (£564,000) to survivors and victims' relatives. The settlement offer from 1980s band Great White is the latest stemming from the fire at The Station nightclub in the US state of Rhode Island in 2003. The blaze began when the band's tour manager shot off pyrotechnics at the start of the concert. More than 200 people were also injured in the blaze. One band member, guitarist Ty Longley, was killed in the fire - the fourth-deadliest nightclub fire in US history. According to court papers, the band does not admit any wrongdoing as part of the settlement whi…
