Revolutionary Road was probably the most depressing movie I've ever seen

Thanks for the heads up. That's another film I can strike from my "to watch" list, then!:P

it was a very well made movie though... the acting was really amazing.

...it just wasn't... say... the feel good movie of the year

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

8.5/10

I for some reason always forget that David Tennant is in the film.

I saw The Town yersterday.

The scenario is nothing new, quite hollywoodian style, not really my thing usually.... But I don't know why, I enjoyed myself and was quite caught in the movie.:stunned:

So I think it deserves a 6.5/10 :)

Forrest Gump - 10/10 Very good movie and I love Tom Hanks :awesome:

Devil. Pants.

On TV:

"The Greatest Game Ever Played"

Wonderful "feel-good" movie, based on a true story, about a young amateur golfer from a working-class background who won the US Open in 1913.

You don't need to be a big golf fan to enjoy this film, which is the classic tale of "the underdog triumphing against all the odds".

Great idea to screen this on the eve of the Ryder Cup.

Definitely an 8/10.

saw Four Lions last week.
