^it's a really good story, but the plot twist near the end it's kinda obvious and disappointing

But is it a good thriller so to say? Can you compare it to any other films?

Argo 8.5/10

This is incredible. And it shows the history. I was so nervous while watching it. I guess everyone sit in the theater is nervous too.

yeah, it's a good film.

right now i don't remember any other to compare, but you should see it :P

Zero Dark Thirty 6/10

Arbitrage 5/10

The Tourist 4/10

The story brings it up a few points, and the story is pretty bad. How did this thing cost so much to make? Amazing.

Beasts of the Southern Wild - 5/10

Brave 5/10

I liked the animation and the scottish accent but the story was kind of lame, like it had so much potential and so many possibilities to consider and they've chosen the worst.

"A Dangerous Method" 6/10

I liked some parts, but most of it was unconvincing, especially in regard with Michael Fassbender.

I guess my expectations were too high.

Live 2012 10/10

yeah, it's a good film.

A good film got 5/10? :o

Fantastic Mr. Fox - 9/10

A good film got 5/10? :o

it depends if the movie gets my full atention or not, hehe

The Aviator 8/10

Intriguing, entertaining, could easily give it 9 but possibly I'm so impressed because I wasn't expecting it to be this good (I didn't think Hughes' unbelievable life would translate well to a 'based on' dramatization) and also the last handful of films I've seen were quite poor, but definitely a solid 8.

Hmm, interesting. For a guy who made his fortune on oil well drill bits, he did all right in some of his other ventures, but a movie about well drilling equipment just wouldn't be all that exciting - a little too real, a little too dull, even though they're diamond studded. Good think they went with his aviation interests. ;)

The Basketball Diaries 8.5/10

baby leo is such a great actor in this.

His father Howard Hughes Snr made the fortune from drill bits, I'm sure Jnr was involved as he grew into an adult but clearly it wasn't quite as exciting a lifestyle as directing films and aviation, which occupied all of his time and which the film is based on.
