Because in my humble opinion, Funeral is far and away better than Neon Bible. Don't get me wrong, Neon Bible is fantastic. But Funeral is just...untouchable. On Monday night at 10pm (AEST) ABC2 will be broadcasting a fair bit of the Arcade Fire show that took place earlier in the year. i have the audio of the full concert and it is easily the best concert i have heard all year so i cant wait to see it on tv. for those of you outside of australia i will record the show and put it on youtube as quickly as i can. JPB Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 i must agree. neon bible was good but nowhere near as all-round satisfying and heart-warming as funeral. they were too cynical on neon bible and admitted it was the product of too much critical acclaim for their first effort causing a backlash and them thumbing their noses. but i still love em. can't wait for lp3! I'm probably a minority here, but my favorite song by them is this version of "Headlights Look Like Diamonds": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjHT9BpKaO8 And to be honest, I don't know much about them, or about any of their albums... They've got pretty good B-sides and covers. (Eg. The Guns of Brixton) The first song that got me hooked to AF was 'Wake Up' live at glastonbury 2007 (I think). It should be the other way around...U2 opening for AF. :sneaky: AF & U2 do a cover of Joy Division's "Love Will Tear Us Apart" at youtube.
