In MX, Coldplay thought you had to travel to a fake, dystopian world in order to find happiness. But then by the time AHFOD rolls around, they realized you can find happiness on Earth, you just have to find it or create it yourself....you the people have the power to make this life a wonderful adventure! I definitely agree. MX is a story with a positive moral, developed from ideas for an animated film and comic series. AHFOD is a much more personal album for the band, developed more from their own experiences. From what they've said in interviews about both albums, I'm inclined to say the emotion in AHFOD is more pure and genuine because it comes straight from their own hearts. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We probably got much better results with Faultline, Ron Sexsmith, Michael Stipe etc. Those were really good collabs. Cat Power too, to mention a newer one. That being said the collab with Tove Lo yielded pretty nice results. She's actually decent though. Does anyone else say "ah-fod" in their head instead of "a head full of dreams"?
