Katherine Heigl Rocks Out With Coldplay

katherine-heigl-coldplay-josh.jpg

Proving her excellent taste in music, Katherine Heigl, joined by husband Josh Kelley, was spotted on her way into the Forum in Los Angeles last night to catch Coldplay in concert.

The “27 Dresses” cutie looked excited to be checking out one of the hottest bands in the world, sporting a black jacket, black trousers and a white collared shirt.

And the drama surrounding her decision to pull herself from the Emmys keeps on rolling. Now there are reports that her character on Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Izzie Stevens, may be given a brain tumor in the upcoming season.

An insider revealed, “[Producer] Shonda [Rhimes]and the writers are pissed at her. It’s their way of screwing with her. She won’t know whether she’s going to live or die.”

Enjoy the pictures of Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley out at the Coldplay show (July 15) at http://www.celebrity-gossip.net/celebrities/hollywood/katherine-heigl-rocks-out-with-coldplay-204852/

i think that when a show is sold out then if any area like VIP or general

if the seats are totally sold, then no one can do anything for it to give tickets to others.Because its sold out.

what ever it is it might be celebs or general people.

either oxfam or any other like concert organisers can only give seats to the people if any are left over, if they're not left then what can any one do to give tickets.

They've to be placed on the heads of some or some persons then.

Coldplay, Coldplay, Coldplay!

Who isn't going to see Coldplay? I mean, even Miley Cyrus likes them!

Yes, that's Leonardo DiCaprio - making a rare appearance! - hiding underneath a ballcap outside the Coldplay concert in Inglewood last night... and who was in the car with him? BFF Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer!

What about behind Leo, though - is that Bar?

I'm really glad pictures were posted so I could actually see the show! We were at the Tuesday, July 15th show at the Forum, yet I feel like I missed it. The musical performance was amazing, without doubt. But, due to our unfortunate seats in the rear of the venue, we couldn't see a thing. The orbs were really cool, but they aren't a replacement for the big screens. There was a tremendous screen behind the band that they turned on for the finale, and I just don't understand why it wasn't on for the whole show. It was fantastic to view the whole audience, but the lights on stage were pretty dark for most of evening, and it would have been so much better to view the band themselves.

I saw X&Y at Irvine and was just so impressed with the wall of light and the performance value. We had much better tickets to that show, but with all the screens, you would have been able to see the performance from anywhere in the venue. With the Vida la Viva tour, you really have to have good seats.

Was a fun show. My opinion was pretty much like like some others. The show overall was really tasty, & Really got rockin somewhere 'bout midway on. Fix you, square one, yellow, probably my favs. Not to be a hater, but I think they sounded a tad better a few years ago, but couldve been the arena . . I absolutely hated those damn orbs . . ya, they're cool for a track or two, but without a big screen, which they had back there, big venues suck when ya dont use them. what were they thinking!?! At least the sound was fairly good, but couldve been a lil' louder. Staples acoustics suck, so I'm willing to deal with the moldy old sweltering hot forum in that respect & the horribly cramped seating. what really made the show great was having my lady with me as their goods can get somewhat romantic & leads to a lot of kissing. People were making out everywhere!!! Leave it to Coldplay. This is one show you dont want to go stag.

I know it doesnt sound it, cuz I'm just a bit critical, but Overall had a blast, so thanks COLDPLAY for the kick ass performance.

In this video it looks like Chris gets help from an prerecorded voice at the end, when he drops down the mic :stunned: Or is this voice from the other member? I hope so...:\

You're more observant than most! Literally 1/2 that show was pre-recorded instruments or background vocals and Chris jumping around like a monkey. A talented band doesn't need backing tracks to play along with. :embarassed:

^^ .so you saying that coldplay isnt a great band......

No, they are a great band. I'm merely suggesting all this Brian Eno orchestra extremely overproduced sound stuff from the new album might have been a misstep...

OK... it's been a long day at work after a shagadelic night ... yes Coldplay is a GREAT band to take your significant other too. Romance was most definitely in the air...

Heah give that Eva a break... she was probably on the set for a very long time recently for DHW ... I'm sure Chris could give a hoot ... he knows how big a band they are now ... he doesn't need a celeb staying awake during his show to validate himself or the band...

Here are some cool pix I got when they played at the end of the catwalk (just 3 rows in front of us!!!:D) enjoy...

Yeah, I have to admit that most of the new songs don't translate live, or at least not at the scale that a four piece band can re-produce live. Don't get me wrong, some of the songs came off great live -- like Lovers In Japan and Lost, for example. But the ones that bombed dragged down the show.

Which, actually, was probably my main complaint of an overall amazing show: the set list.

It started off fine, but the momentum of the show dropped off completely with 42 and then Yes. The Scientist, while one of my favorite songs, wasn't the best way to get that momentum back, and then it was time for the side stage songs (which were great for me, as my fiance and I were right there in front of them, but, again, didn't build a lot of momentum).

It was also strange that they had that techno fill after the set and before the first encore, and then came back and started that encore with "Fix You." It was a great perfomance of a great song, but there was a moment in the beginning that was just weird, because they'd gone from the techno music to a heart felt ballad. It would have seemed more natural had they come out rockin'.

Again, it was a great show, it really was. It was just a bit inconsistent.

OMG!!! We sat FRONT ROW!!!!

My cousin and I got there early and decided to go find our seats, which were in the colonade section right beside the stage. So we get there and are sitting down for a bit and suddenly this girl comes up to us and asks us if we are together and we say yes. Then she asks to see our tickets. She looks at them and says, "would you guys like to sit front row?". "I work for Coldplay so you can trade these seats for ones up front." Im like WHHAT?!!!! OMG! I went crazy!!! We ran down to the floor section screaming cause we couldnt believe it. It was amazing and such a beautiful, life changing experience. I've never been so close to Chris!!! He was just gorgeous, better than what i expected. Anyway, here are some pics I took from FRONT ROW!!!!
