August 17, 200916 yr I hope the "first night" that R42 refers to means the show is still evolving, because as far as I can see the "huge new production" seems to extend no further than a bigger video screen and a few fireworks. I do hope they start soundchecking and trying out some new stuff, I'd love it if I wasn't seeing exactly the same show next month.

August 17, 200916 yr According to the Danish media the show was absolutely brilliant, but they had some problems with the sound. The strong wind was probably responsible for it. Furthermore Chris' voice was still a bit bad due to his illness... Perhaps that's why R#42 called it a "first night". ;) http://www.aoh.dk/artikler/hokus-pokus-af-hoej-klasse I'm a bit disappointed about the setlist though. It's very similar to the European gigs they've done last year... But great that SOS is back and the stage is simply awesome! :D
August 17, 200916 yr what a disappointment with the setlist... maybe it remained the same to make sure it went smooth after all the problems, and maybe because it was the first time they played Denmark on VLV Tour

August 17, 200916 yr Hi guys - I just got home from an amazing concert! :dance::dance: And yeah, that was the setlist! ^ With Speed Of Sound and Will singing Till Kingdom Come. Unfurtunatly not a big change in the setlist. They didn't do Trouble though! Instead they played a 'herning song'. Pretty weird as my 10-year-old sister got a setlist which says Trouble as first song at the C-stage. But they didn't. Will write a review tomorrow as I'm soooooo tired after queueing almost all day + school tomorrow (:stunned:). Me and my family got 1., 2. and 3. row btw, and I met Julie (ClocksInMyPlace)!! August 17, 200916 yr Fantastic concert! After a long struggle and considerable muscle pain I endured hrs of waiting to then get to the front row, but what with the yellow balloons , the psychedelia of Speed of Sound and the confetti of Lovers in Japan, it was DEFINITELY all worth it! What a magical night! Only by seeing Coldplay live, can you really apppreciate the meticulous detail they put in everything they do. It was a true delightful VLV package, topped by the LRLR cd given out at the exit. A little gem was also hearing Will singing Til Kingdom Come: totally sweet and also hearing my beloved Green Eyes. They moved around a lot and played two sets of songs out there in the crowd. Here is my little contribution to the video with a few seconds of The Hardest Part, which they played on another stage.
