Even though you can go through the process of getting "verified" to get rid of any pre-set spending limit from PayPal, it turns out there actually IS an "undisclosed" transaction limit of $10,000 U.S. (which is far below the ebay limit of $15,000). Since the globe was 8,100 British pounds, that is the equivalent of approximately $13,000 U.S., which is over this "undisclosed" limit. So... I'm trying to contact the seller, etc. to arrange other payment. Of course, I'm trying to do that via e-mails, because my cell phone company can't figure out what I'm trying to dial when I call the London numbers. Argh.

December 29, 200916 yr that's great that real coldplay fans got some of this truly priceless memorabilia - I'm really surprised these guys did that, but of course it's for a good cause - hopefully one day all of these items can be brought together for a Coldplay museum - BTW - does anyone know how much the CP70 went for (the one Chris wrote Trouble on supposedly)? I forgot to save the item on my ebay watch, btw does will anyone have a list of all the items and how much they went for.... just curious on how much people were willing to spend on the items - congrats to all again.

The pianos are only listed under the U.K. ebay since they won't ship them (pickup only). Just google U.K. ebay, login as you normally would, and go through the same process.

December 29, 200916 yr No offence, but I think that Thinline actually is the "42" one, which was the proper live guitar for the X&Y tour (it still had the white pickguard). Please correct me if I'm wrong. I think it's pretty awkward that they didn't posted more info about the guitars, since some of them were reissues and but a few were real vintage guitars (the viva 72' thinline, and the "42" [i think!]). In that case, it's kind of ironic that the "42" guitar is going to go a lot cheaper than the reissues. Still, major congratulations all!!
