Personal Archive, DVD or Documentary? Mexican Shows Will Be Filmed

Featured Replies

Well it seems very fitting for them to record the gigs in Mexico seeing how much of inspiration was for Viva la Vida...I think we just have to wait (hopefully not too long) and see what they're gonna do with all the things they recorded during this tour :D

:dead: Wow, amazing news! *gets hopes up too early*

(kind of disappointed about Wembley not making the dvd. If it's gonna be a dvd.)

I'm sorta doubting it's a live DVD since we've heard so many times now that they've been filming at specific shows. The documentary idea seems more plausible.

It would be great to get a DVD since they havent officially released one since 2003 which would be 7 years!!And I think the Viva La Vida tour would translate so well on a dvd!!And I think we all would love a documentry too!

Chris has a special love for Mexico. You don’t have idea of how much he professes his love to the Mexicans.

Sigh

:awesome: Thanks for the news!

I rrrrrrreally hope we'll get to see some of it. And soon.

A DVD of the concert coming out first, some time later a 2-disc special edition with the documentary :bomb:

I can dream, right?

GOSH , that would be so perfect!!! maybe , yes, it's like a live dvd with a documentary

:surprised: !!! I was wondering about this today! Great news & hope it comes out instead of just being "news"....

Can I dream with you Anna?! :awesome:

aww Mat Whitecross was in my home state of Guanajuato!

god i wish i was going!

and they love Mexico awwwwwwww:heart:

so happy about that

Sud american crowd seems totally AMAZING!! As much as I've loved the Wembley show (and wish it to be on DVD), I have to admit that the english crowd is really tiedous.. :dozey: SO a Mexican DVD with a loud and festiv crowd could be cool!

Ahhh if they have filmed PARIS :bomb:

maybe the interview on #42 113th blog is dvd style?

would be awesome

how about we all spam their email with requests for a dvd.lol :)

We just met Mat for the second time. We got on the elevator with him last night but only said hi and did't mention coldplay. Well we just saw him again and talked to him and got some pics. I told him i hear you're in mexico to make a coldplay movie and don't say archive! :p he laughed

He was super nice and oh so cute! He had to rush off.

Please make a DVD!!!!!!!!!! :wacky:

A DVD would be awesome. I wanted one SOOO badly when the European tour was still running (I still think the Wembley concert the 19th should have been filmed ).

I think Viva DVD would have been more effective had it already been out a few months...but I don't know, perhaps it would be better to wait until LP5 and then do one, and do an entire concert and plenty of extras!

I wish it was mixed DVD with songs from all continents they've visited
