CHART-TOPPING ROCKERS COLDPLAY TO PERFORM “LIVE ON LETTERMAN” WEBCAST, PRESENTED BY AT&T, TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

 

 

CBS Interactive Music Group’s leading concert webcast series, LIVE ON LETTERMAN, presented by AT&T, will feature global superstar rock band Coldplay in a live webcast concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, Tuesday, Sept. 20 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).

 

Fans can watch the Coldplay webcast live or on-demand at http://www.cbs.com/late_night/liveonletterman/. In addition, the show will be available live and on-demand through CBS properties, broadcast on select CBS RADIO stations, viewable live on CBS’s JumboTron in Times Square, as well as via a live audio stream on Radio.com’s mobile applications. The webcasts are also offered through VEVO’s website, mobile and connected devices and syndication partners.

 

Coldplay is Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin. The band has released four studio albums, in addition to EPs and live recordings, which have sold more than 50 million records worldwide and won numerous awards, including seven GRAMMY® Awards, six Brit Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards.

 

The band’s fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, will be released globally on Monday, October 24. Produced by Markus Dravs, Daniel Green and Rik Simpson, with “Enoxification” and additional composition by Brian Eno, Mylo Xyloto follows 2008’s Viva La Vida, which charted at #1 in 36 countries and went on to become the biggest selling album in the world that year. A special limited edition Pop-Up Album version of Mylo Xyloto will be available, which will include a 12" x 12" hardcover book containing graffiti pop-up art designed by David A. Carter, vinyl, CD and exclusive content including photographs, excerpts from the studio diary and the band's personal notebooks.

 

Coldplay’s LIVE ON LETTERMAN webcast will follow the taping of their performance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, which will be broadcast later that evening (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

i wonder what contests they wil have? we lost RXP as a rock radio station, hmmm maybe cping will have somethinggg.......................

I will be going no matter what - went to the John Mayer concert 2 yrs ago at Ed Sullivan Theater, it was awesome, the venue is really small, not as big as looks like on tv. The closest we can get to an intimate venue for a band as big as this.

Well there ya have it folks! two live shows under a WEEK after Paradise..this means of course that on September 12th when Paradise come out as a single the MYLOXYLOTO preorder will hit itunes/coldplay.com therefore giving us the tracklisting and the official price of the record and all other mysteries will be revealed! :D

ok so the my free concert website fb page has a contest but just now the Live on Letterman fb page gave a link to my free concert, i asked them if this was the only contest b/c it seems only MFC only has two tix, sighhhhhhh
