QuestionsOfScience
The only time I've been a bit choked up in a song is Belle and Sebastian's "The Ghost Of Rockschool" that bit at the end when everything comes in, the melody is just heavenly. The only song on MX I got a similar reaction to was the outro to Charlie Brown, the fact that it took the piano a little longer to come in really struck me. neonhorn22
Gravity made me cry last year when I was going through a tough time. That and Prospekt's March are the only two Coldplay songs that have made me cry. Gravity is stirringly beautiful. I told my husband that I wanted that played at my funeral. Odvan
Well, you know, people are crying when experienced something deeply emotional, and music of course could remind in a way this feelings. So when I have tears during listening music it's always because of absolute beauty which music keeps remind us. For me those moments when HLH starts, first guitar riff in CB, sound of xylophone in DLIBYH, and second part of the Up With The Birds, when Chris starts sing "a simple plot". Wow. Absolutely beautiful moments.

harrisonrules
The uplifting feeling I got from putting the album into my cd player in my car for the first time this morning was incredible. I sat there taking in everything that I had waited for. I've loved this band for years and will continue to do so for years.
shred
As soon as the first bars of Mylo Xyloto started playing. The same thing happened when I first heard VLV. I think it's mostly due to the relief that I am finally listening to new Coldplay music. I really did miss them.

Coldplaying@Hogwarts
"Can we pour some water on?" in UiF makes me bawl. Chris's falsetto legit breaks and it's so vulnerable and haunting.
