There's plenty of evidence right on this forum in the Multimedia section to prove that Jo Whiley actually does love Coldplay. At the 2009 concert Coldplay did at BBC, Chris modified Yellow "You know I love you Jo" pointing to where Jo Whiley was standing. You got a false impression.

Also during one of Chris' appearances on Chris Moyles show, he refers to Jo as his mistress and you can hear the latter cracking up in the background. She had come t chat with Chris during the break. They are definitely friends.
