I really want to go to The royal Albert Hall to see Coldplay !Do you have any advice for me to get to get tickets?

Thank you !

It's mostly about luck in those situations.

Just make sure you're in the mailing list so you get all the info (although I'm fairly sure the content will be shared on CPing anyway), and check Coldplaying regularly (hehe).

Perhaps once we know of it make sure you're familiar with the website that will sell the tickets? On some websites you need to register, so registering in advance might save you some time.

Be ready on the website a bit in advance of the time when the sale is supposed to start.

Oh, and make sure you've got your way of payment ready as well (some systems do not save your ticket while you're entering all the info, so having everything ready will save you some time and perhaps your ticket in the end..).

So, yeah, basically, being ready is the only thing you can do. The rest is just luck. And that's what you need the most, especially in this case!

did anyone notice how conveniently close to glastonbury the date is set? hopefully they would turn up for a secret show. would fit their strategy for this era very well.

Who knows, they might do a secret show at the Park stage this year.

---

£75 is my guess for ticket prices, plus the usual booking & postage fees, the management know whatever price they set it will sell out in a flash of lightning. I only hope I am able to get access to a computer when the tickets go on sale.

I can see your logic and I would have guessed the exact same thing. Only the Oracle has already denied Coldplay is playing there this year :(

Apparently there will be no more secret shows at the Park stage (possibly not anywhere else either), after the Radiohead debacle in 2011. Would be really great though!

The Park stage has got TV cameras now, so if a big band does a secret set it will be for all the world to see.

Best secret set was an acoustic Keane set in the Avlon tent

Nobody knows at the moment when they will go on sale or which site will be in charge of selling them

I hope it's not ticketmaster as all the available tickets will sell out in mere seconds, but appear straight away on GetMeIn as 'unwanted' tickets for twice the price

Depends on the cost, might price some fans out of the market (not only the ticket cost, but travelling and maybe a hotel), it being a weekday as well might reduce the demand a tiny bit.

But the demand will be large and the likes of Getmein and seatwave are probably rubbing their hands in glee at the number of fans they can rip off charging twice the face value for tickets which are passed directly to them.
