audrey369
Ok, I think we must keep on eye to website to get ticket. I suggest, as last year for Muchen, a group via WhatsApp for example to inform other coldplayers if tickets are sold again. You can PM me and I'll create a group tomorrow. Steel
There are professional full time touters at Viagogo, they'll have a proven set up / process that works every time, just how things are unfortunately :( The ridiculously expensive tickets will be cancelled i'd imagine, just like RAH. The photo ID makes it much harder for them. I bet most won't turn up for the gig so it would be invalid anyway. I think more thought and awareness needs to be given to the ticket process. At the moment it is quite out-dated and with touts/scalpers being able to pick up tickets, this needs to be addressed, i.e. ID for each ticket. Also how will do they cancel tickets which sell for an extortionate amount without any reference to the barcodes etc... Also it would be nice to acknowledge fans more through a pre-sale or another form on interactive method. Coldplay, being Coldplay, with their amazing build up to releases and fan interaction, should re-consider the ticket selling method. I'm sure they could come up with some great stuff! I had a thought... Imagine they hid tickets in album releases all over the world, this would entitle the lucky winners to a one off concert, with lots of old classics to mark the end of the 'chapter'. How fun would that be?! Anyway, what will be will be, it's all down to Coldplay Karma and luck. I'm so happy for those who got tickets :)

BuckinParadise
I managed to get tickets for Ghost Stories @ Casino de Paris and for Munich last december ..always 2 tix, within 3 minutes but today out of luck :(. My nerves :( I would suggest only fans who can answer ot a very diificult question about Coldplay should be qualified to get tickets. That would be fair. WH25
Flawed idea. You can love a band's music without knowing anything about the band. And besides, if you're booking something on the internet, you can look up the answer anyway... It might add a step, but touts would get around it. The Adversary
Coldplay quite prominently appear here. Will probably be much the same for the tour :( [video=youtube;WWlnL8drSdw]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWlnL8drSdw
Black Rose
Coldplay quite prominently appear here. Will probably be much the same for the tour :( [video=youtube;WWlnL8drSdw]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWlnL8drSdw It's the same with pretty much every show. Professional touts with massive set-ups, multiple cards & addresses, ready to try and hoover up as many tickets as they can get. A shame that the Early Day Moment bill to limit ticket reselling to face value + 10% failed, that would pretty much kill the secondary market dead. The fairest way is a ballot, similar to the Olympics where you request "X" tickets, and if you get lucky you will buy them. No fastest finger first etc. Multiple entries by the same IP address removed from the ballot. Tickets with unique ID (last 4 numbers from the card used to pay, names & addresses of the buyer printed on the tickets)

I'd have no interest in supporting any of these establishments, but my love for Coldplay would probably have me forking over the €300+ for a ticket. That's what they prey on, people's passion for music. It's sick.

They might say that they have X thousands of sellers, but if you look deeper into the data it is probably true they have thousands of sellers, of which 99% of them will be selling 1 or 2 tickets, the 1% are the pros. Christa42
Coldplay just tweeted this

Please note: if you bought tickets tonight for the R1 show on Dec 3, you need to take ID. Tickets can't be resold. Christa42
I really hope the band reads the tweets and posts of the fans. I hope they are reading this thread. It is criminal what the scalpers are charging for tickets. When LCD Soundsystem found 60 of their tickets being sold by ONE SCALPER they called them out and asked how they had 60 of their tickets to their last show at MSG. That's when they decided to have 4 shows at Terminal 5 where the tickets were sold and the purchaser picked them up at the venue and had to have id. Two ticket max. There must be something a band as big as Coldplay can do to help this situation. They can do anything! But this is a story that we will hear for a while to come with the new tour. PRE-SALE is an answer.
audrey369
Watts group is created. You can PM me if you want join us. MinceSpies
There is a special place in hell for ticket scalpers. It's a huge issue but at the same time, what would be a fair solution to the problem? A ballot is probably reasonable but with small gigs like this one there will always be huge fans that miss out. Congrats to the few who managed to get tickets though.

Anxud
You can't find anything on viagogo rn, hopefully they weren't sold out cause I hate to see these greedy creatures win and instead Coldplay heard us and they will resell it again soon
Chaarles
I'm ready to pay 1.000£ for 2 tickets, if anyone is interested please let me know. I tried everything with like 6-7 friends online trying to get tickets, it's our anniversary and it was a surprise for my wife, I'm just so upset, it's a lot of money but it will be so special for her. If anyone might be interested please let me know. Thank you all!!
the_escapist
Isn't there an issue with buying tickets bought by other people? I thought that the terms and conditions of the sale of the tickets said that the person with the name printed in the ticket has to be present in order for the ticket holders to be admitted. Although I've heard in some cases with ticket touts will escort the person they sold the ticket to into the venue, before exiting and repeating with another set of tickets, basically throwing away the "lead booker" ticket. Or you run the risk of being refused entry as you are not the person named on the ticket.

Chaarles
Hi escapist, thanks for your message, yes, my idea was to enter the concert with the person that sells each ticket to us. The tickets lead buyer name can be on your ticket if you enter at the same time than him. Regards!!!!
Chaarles
I know, but you know if there is any possibility to take my wife to that concert I will do it. The sale process was a scam from the beggining, we should go back to making real queues on the street for 24 h. Thanks for your reply.
