I dont think this will be on the EP because the font and style is of the Chainsmokers. It will most likely be on the Chainsmokers' album. EDIT: I am praying that this collab doesn't end in disaster like the new Linkin Park song did. Unlike Maroon 5 and LP, Coldplay kept an artistic and creative direction for AHFOD. If that all changes (in both the chainsmokers song and the KEP), I would lose all respect I had for Coldplay. Its unfortunate, but this has already become a trend among popular 2000's acts. I don't think they could completely lose themselves the way Linkin Park absolutely did with that song. especially if this does end up being more of a Chainsmokers song then I don't think it's 100% indication of what Kaleidoscope will be. Coldplay'' and not ''Coldplay ft The Chainsmokers''. It will be nice hearing new material from them again, but since The Chainsmokers aren't really the kind of music I adore, I won't have my hopes up to high, and still hoping for the ''more guitar driven'' Kaleidoscope EP. One thing I find strange though, is that we get reports from Chris in the studio with the Chainsmokers but non of the other members were spotted there. So I'm thinking it just some sort of publicity way of promoting the song ft. Coldplay instead of ft. Chris Martin. Since the name Chris Martin sounds much less familiar to many people than Coldplay, who everyone knows, and will probably boost sales/attention/hype. I have lost my trust in Will, after all he let stuff like the Beats Pill ad, the POC video and X Marks The Spot pass.. And yeah, I've always had my hopes on Will, but since so many things have happened ofter the past few years since MX, I've also lost my trust in him keeping the high standards Coldplay used to have. Also I just read a review of their concert in Brussels and apparently they showed visuals of a girl on a beach during Paris, palm trees inc. gai Posted February 22, 2017 Share Posted February 22, 2017 :worried: anyway, about debuting the song tonight at the brits, [MEDIA=twitter]834383613395398656[/MEDIA] Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/TheChainsmokers/status/834383613395398656 probably the live debut would be at the iheartradio music awards. the chainsmokers and chris are announced to perform. and about using coldplay name for publicity instead of chris martin, i feel like that is probably true. unless this song ends up in the ep (by the banner ad, it looks like a chainsmokers song), j/g/w probably had minimal to nothing to do with it. a lot of us fans are pretty frustrated with the (bad) pop aspirations of the band. maybe it's coldplay making the collabs not as good as they can be. i mean we all were worried about avicii, and the coldplay version of the song turned out worse than the avicii version. that is saying something. edit: huh.. the chainsmokers deleted "day off in brussels" tweet.
