January 30, 200917 yr a truly great live band can rock any venue whether its a small nightclub or 50 000 seat football stadium or the main stage at glastonbury or even your regular indoor arena. The Killers are one of those bands.

The Killers are one of those bands. yep you said it.. doesn't matter the size of the venue. As someone else has mentioned they have matured tremendously. They have always sounded great live but the stage presence thing took a while but hey it's so worth the wait. I hope they come back to my area again this year cuz I am so there to see them again!:D
January 31, 200917 yr here are the pics I took from the Fairfax, Va show (not the greatest, still haven't mastered this point and shoot camera in concerts..)
January 31, 200917 yr *dies* He's so cute! :wacky: And I'm incredibly jealous of your seat. :stunned: Awesome shots!

February 1, 200917 yr I am sad that they have not played A Dustland Fairytale at their recent concerts. What is that about?
February 1, 200917 yr I am sad that they have not played A Dustland Fairytale at their recent concerts. What is that about? I dunno, but that's my favorite track off the album. That or Losing Touch.
February 1, 200917 yr I am sad that they have not played A Dustland Fairytale at their recent concerts. What is that about? It's a shit song that wouldn't translate well live and would bore the audience
February 1, 200917 yr Bleh. One of my friends saw them at the Grand Ole Opry last night. Or a few hours ago. I'm jealous. I'm supposed to see them in Columbus on May 5. Even though I can't say I particularly like Day & Age, I'm still excited about it.
February 1, 200917 yr It's a shit song that wouldn't translate well live and would bore the audience right... and that's why they play joyride at just about every show.

Even though I can't say I particularly like Day & Age, I'm still excited about it. you know whats interesting. I wasn't gaga over the album until I saw them perform the songs live.. And that changed everything! I go back now and listen to the album with a new set of ears and am digging the songs even more.
February 1, 200917 yr ^ That's always the case with The Killers. Their music always takes on a new dynamic after it is heard live. I have liked Day and Age all along, but I heard 4 of 10 songs live on the day of release. This is not to say that I love everything on the CD but, overall, I would say it is a pretty solid album.
February 3, 200917 yr I just got home from The Killers' show in Houston. It was awesome. Brandon sounded great and wore the absolutely tightest pants I have ever seen.

February 3, 200917 yr I woke up late and didn't get to the venue until around 5, so I was on the second row. But Brandon stands on the monitors all the time, so you get a good view of him. They played for 1:35, nice mix from all their records. Bubbles were cute, but soap kept dripping on my head. Confetti was no match for Coldplay's butterflies , but the sparkler backdrop was awesome. I don't know how he could breathe in those pants! They were almost painted on. And a tight shirt....and he doesn't sweat! :stunned: I mean he wiped his forehead a few times, but the way he runs about, he should have been soaked! He has some kind of tight pants / cold shirt technology or something.
