The Script have revealed in a recent interview that Coldplay and U2 invited them to their Christmas party following Coldplay's Dublin concerts in December last year. "To me, the sound of this record is the sound of Guy, Will and Johnny taking back the glory. Which makes me very happy." To me it sounds like Chris is saying people thought he was taking over the band and that's not the direction he wanted it to go in. If Chris was to win the NME Sexiest Male 2009 Award, (which he will) what should we get him to do? I mean, 95% of coldplayers helped to get Chris from about #16 to #5, and that's a lot of mouse-clicks. Some were even temporarily banned from voting! I was at the John Legend concert here in San DIego on Friday, and Estelle was the opening act. At the end of her set, her and her band just broke into a very upbeat and rock version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face. It was awesome, and it sounded pretty good. Do Estelle and Coldplay have any kind of relation or connection? Or is she just a huge fan like us.

i really like coldplay, but i've been out of the loop since rush of blood to the head, so i was wondering about a couple things. 1) does chris's attire mean anyhting? he's usually seen in the black jacket with colored sleeves and lately his white shirt underneath it has had a V on it. what does all of that symbolize? 2) was there a reason for releasing prospekts march so soon after viva la vida? was it cherity or just a follow up?

I was listening to Revolution 9 by The Beatles backmask this morning. Also i dug up some footage of Paul is Dead?!. Coldplay stated that the costumes come from the French Revolution. Revolution 9 and French Revolution. Any similarity. Also, they come from Sgt. Peppers album from The Beatles. Cemeteries of London i think is about the WWII bombings in London or could it be about Paul and same with 42. Death and All His Friends have any similarity about it either. I just wanted to talk about it because it seemed similar. A lot about death. I could just be talking out of my ass, so don't think i' m nuts. I just saw a similarity. What do you think?

it's the anniversary of Coldplay's(or should i say Starfish's?) first gig! :dance: the first gig they played together was 11 years ago in '98. party anyone? :D
