This is in my opinion, the band that defines grunge best. Layne Staley is one messed up person, but he is also an amazing musician. Dirt is an awesome album, all their songs have a very unique sound that other bands today try to copy....PUDDLE OF MUDD. If you want some awesome songs to check out, listen to... Julian and Juliet? The rumours are true. Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas is engaged to be married to the band's assistant manager, Juliet Joslin. According to the band's publicist, Jim Merlis, Casablancas has announced his engagement while on stage at several recent concerts. However, the news began to spread after Casablancas pulled the stunt at a free concert in New York's Central Park, introducing the song "Hard To Explain" with the words, "I'm getting married and it's hard to explain." I just got home from my drum lesson a little while ago, and I've gotta say, it was pretty interesting. Not only did I blow my teacher out of the water, but I seriously amazed myself. I brought The Vines CD Winning Days with me, because I'd been looking at this one song, called Ride. I told him which track it was, and he put it on, and I started playing along to it. Except for a part in the bridge where I kept messing up the bass drum pattern, I pretty well nailed the song. Which especially surprised me because... Well, I'd never played that song before. Posted this on another website and got some interesting replies :) What songs do you like to listen to for motivation or inspiration, for example studying for exams, preparing for job interviews, or getting ready for an important game if you are part of a sports team? What songs do you listen to when you need face any tough time in your life? You can also suggest pieces of poetry or quotes that you like, but the reason I mentioned songs is that I'm thinking of compiling a CD. Any ideas? :)

I like it, it's pretty fun and interesting the way they put two songs in one. :D
